Radhika's pov

It was my birthday, and I was excited to celebrate with my friends. We had planned a party, but not a grand one, as we didn't have a huge budget. However, we were determined to have fun, and that's all that mattered.

The party was held at my place, and my friends started arriving in the evening. They were all dressed in their casual best, and the atmosphere was lively. There was music, dancing, and lots of laughter.

Jyotika, my best friend, had brought a cake, and we all sang "Happy Birthday" as we cut it. I was overwhelmed with emotion as I looked at my friends, feeling grateful for their love and support.

The party was in full swing, with everyone chatting, joking, and having a great time. We played games, like charades and Pictionary, and even had a mini dance competition.

As the night wore on, we decided to have a potluck dinner. Everyone had brought a dish to share, and we sat down to eat together. The food was delicious, and we all enjoyed each other's company.

After dinner, we sat around, chatting and laughing, enjoying each other's company. We talked about our lives, our dreams, and our aspirations.

As the night drew to a close, we all hugged each other, promising to meet again soon. I thanked my friends for making my birthday so special, and they all left for their homes, exhausted but happy.

I went to sleep with a smile on my face, feeling grateful for my friends and the wonderful birthday they had given me. I knew that I would always treasure this memory, and I couldn't wait to celebrate again next year.

The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and happy. I looked at my phone and saw that I had received many messages from my friends, wishing me a happy birthday and thanking me for the wonderful party.

I smiled, feeling grateful for my friends and their love. I knew that I was lucky to have them in my life, and I promised myself that I would always cherish their friendship.

As I went about my day, I couldn't help but think about the previous night's celebration. I smiled to myself, remembering the laughter and the fun we had. I felt grateful for my friends and the love they shared.

Just then, my phone buzzed with a text from Jyotika. "Hey, birthday girl! Hope you're having a great day. We're all still talking about last night's party. It was so much fun!"

My face lit up with a smile as I read the message. I quickly typed out a response. "Hey, thanks! I'm having a great day, just thinking about last night and how much fun we had. You guys are the best!"

As I went about my day, I received more messages from my friends, all of them talking about the party and how much they enjoyed it. I felt happy and content, knowing that I had such wonderful friends in my life.

Later that evening, I decided to watch a movie to unwind. I picked my favorite rom-com and snuggled up on the couch with a blanket. As I watched the movie, I couldn't help but think about Rishi and our encounter at the mall. I wondered if I would ever see him again.

Just as I was getting lost in thought, my phone buzzed with a text from an unknown number. "Hey, happy birthday again! I hope you had a great day."

My heart skipped a beat as I read the message. I didn't recognize the number, but there was something familiar about the tone. I wondered if it could be Rishi.

...

Rishi's pov

I had been thinking about Radhika nonstop since our encounter at the mall. I couldn't shake off the feeling that we had a connection, and I was determined to explore it further. But I knew that Radhika was hesitant, and I didn't want to scare her off. So, I decided to start with a simple text message. "Happy birthday," I wrote, hoping that she would respond positively.

Radhika was taken aback when she received the message. She hadn't expected me to remember her birthday, let alone text her. She felt a flutter in her chest as she read the message, and she couldn't help but wonder if I had feelings for her too. But she was cautious. She didn't want to get hurt again, and she wasn't sure if she could trust me. So, she responded with a simple "thanks" and waited to see what I would do next.

..

After texting her, I appeared at Radhika's doorstep, my presence unexpected and unnerving. She opened the door to find me standing there, my eyes fixed intently on hers. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she stepped aside to let me in.

As I entered her home, Radhika couldn't help but notice how gorgeous I looked. My hair was messy, and my eyes had a mischievous glint, but it was my presence that truly unsettled her. She felt like I was taking over her space, invading her sanctuary.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

I didn't answer. Instead, I walked closer to her, my eyes never leaving hers. Radhika felt her heart racing as I approached her. She tried to step back, but her feet seemed rooted to the spot.

"Don't ask any questions, Radhika," I warned, my voice low and husky. "Just accept that I'm here."

Radhika's mind was racing. She didn't know what to make of my sudden arrival or my cryptic warning. But before she could process anything, I leaned in and kissed her.

It was a deep, passionate kiss, one that left Radhika breathless. She felt like she was drowning in my embrace, like she was losing herself in my touch. But it was also frightening, because she didn't know what I wanted or why I was doing this.

When we finally broke apart, Radhika looked up at me with a mix of fear and confusion. "Why did you do that?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

I just smiled, my eyes glinting with mischief. "You'll find out soon enough," I said, turning to leave.

Radhika watched me go, her mind reeling with questions. What did I want from her? Why had I kissed her like that? And what did I mean by my cryptic warning?

As the days passed, Radhika couldn't shake off the memory of my kiss. It lingered in her mind, haunting her like a ghost. She couldn't forget the way I made her feel, the way I took over her space and her heart.

And though she tried to push me away, she knew she couldn't resist me. I had a hold on her, a hold she couldn't break.
