Kate is so young, only 7 years old, that she saw horrible things and learned early about sex. It started when she saw something a child shouldn't see; it wouldn't leave her mind, and it changed her perspective.

She was aware that her fascination with the content was unusual for a child of her age. Despite knowing it wasn't suitable for someone of her innocence, she found herself drawn to it repeatedly, often losing herself in its hypnotic rhythm. The only positive aspect was that she wasn't engaging in any harmful behavior herself, but her thoughts had taken on a mature tone that was unsettling. At first glance, she appeared to be an innocent child, but her mind had been exposed to complex and sometimes disturbing concepts that were typically reserved for adults.

Kate has noticed since she was a child that her parents always misunderstand each other, which causes a huge fight.

Her father was a drunk man, hot-headed, and addicted to drugs. Her father wasn't always at their home; he always went to his friends, feeling like his life was still a teenager.

Her mother was so stressed over her father and kept saying to her, "I hope someday you will find a man who isn't like your father."

Kate couldn't understand her mother and tried to ask why, but her mother responded, "Soon, you would understand it."

One time, she came and wanted to ask her father about something. Her father was on the sofa watching TV, looking so outraged. While she kept tapping, her father was aggravated by it and shrieked at her.

Her father shrieked and said, "Go out."

Kate ran out to their house and sniveled.

When her mother came to their house, she saw Kate wasn't there and tried to ask her husband about it. "Did you see Kate? Where is she? I couldn't find her," but her husband didn't say anything and continued to watch.

Her mother went out and tried to find her. "Kate, where are you?" Her mother shouted.

Kate saw her mother find her and decided not to show up while crying. It's the middle of the night. She saw her mother keep finding her and decided to show up. "Mom, I'm here." Her mother was glad to see her and take her to their home.

Kate's pov

"Look what I just caught; it's a dragonfly," her mother said.

She looks at her father, feeling mad at him. After that, Kate's already stopped to cry and amazed at what her mom just caught.

The next day, there was an event near them, and they attended. She saw her father give a gift to another child.

"How could my father give a gift from other people, but he couldn't even give me anything as his child?" she said to herself while feeling jealous of what she saw.

After that, Kate and her mother had already gone home, but her father was still staying at the event to drink.

While her mother was doing laundry, she just kept singing next to her until she saw her mother looking mad at something, and she was confused about it. She didn't ask about it because her mother looked so aggravated by it.

It was afternoon, and her father came back and looked so drunk. Her mother was so mad at him, and they kept arguing about something she didn't know. She didn't expect that their argument would cause a huge fight, like they would try to kill each other.

Kate was just too stunned and cried, trying to defend her mother. Someone saw them and tried to truce them.

After what happened, her mother decided to separate from her father.
