Chapter 7: Perplexity

Axelle graduated in 6th grade; she's in high school now. She attends Aurora High Academy, which has a sense of grandeur and distinction, suggesting a prestigious institution where talented students excel from an early age.

Marceline didn't school at Aurora High Academy; she went to another school, Eldridge Valley. They were still friends, but it caused them to separate as a trio not into permanently, but a lot of changes from them as Marceline had new friends at her school, while Axelle and Rhiane became duos.

Axelle Kate's Pov

School Started.

As she entered her new school, she kept looking at her uniform, a high school uniform. Then look at Rae.

"Wow, it feels like just yesterday," Axelle said while looking at Rae, and she kept looking at her new school like she just couldn't believe it.

Rae, just look at her and listen.

Axelle kept talking to her as she felt nostalgia: "Before, when I'm just 2nd grade at elementary school, Crets Valley, I kept looking at the wall where there was a school. Next to our school was high school, and I saw a lot of students there looking so cool. As I kept looking at them, I counted how many years it would take for me to complete elementary school, like I was so desperate to be a teenager, and now I'm already in high school."

Rae smiled to her and said, "Yeahh, me too. I can't believe we're in high school now. Remember we used to ask each other, Where are we going to school? And what would we choose from it? We've always wanted to be in the same section together, so we would still be classmates."

"Ohh, yeahh, I still remember that; have you still remembered it before? We've been passed through it, and we kept looking at this school, like we were curious what it looked like inside," Axelle said while feeling nostalgia inside of her.

Rae just smiled at her and then saw the time: "Ohh, it's already 7:00 am; let's find out where section we are in."

They've seen a lot of people finding out which room they are in. They saw a paper on the wall with a list of sections. Rae looked at it and was appalled.

"Hey, look, I'm in a different section now; I'm in Section Soren. I didn't choose that, but I'm in that section," Rae said to her while feeling worried.

Section Soren represented the pinnacle of intellectual distinction at Aurora High Academy. It was reserved for students who had demonstrated exceptional cognitive prowess through rigorous examinations. Once admitted, these individuals were easily identifiable by their distinctive uniforms, marking their place in the highest echelon of the institution. In contrast, Section Sylvie was dedicated to students recognized for their innate talent and potential for excellence.

"Huh? I thought we would choose section Sylvie together?" Axelle Kate responded while looking so worried that they might not be the same section or classmate.

"I don't know what happened; I just took the exam because they handed it to me, but I didn't choose Soren," Rhiane said to her while walking and finding Soren's room.

Rhiane and Axelle kept walking together and look so appalled about it. "What are we going to do now?" Axelle Kate asked her.

"I don't know, Axelle. I'm going to fix this. I would tell them to transfer me to section Sylvie. Just find your room; I'll see you later. Rhiane responded while keeping her room.

"Uhmm... Okay," Axelle said, feeling so appalled about it. She tried to find her room, and as she kept walking, she saw a list where her name was.

"No. 19, Axelle Kate Cypher Clavaster, Sylvie section 2? Huh? Why did they put me in section 2? My grades are high," Axelle said to herself, looking like she couldn't accept it.
