I stand up beside the bed, admiring the simple but delicate design of the kimono from Muzan. It's a pretty pink with lighter pink floral designs.
Getting ready, I slip on my shoes. I go into the bathroom, fixing my hair but I can't get the headpiece to slide in without getting it stuck.
Holding the headpiece, I open the door, walking over to Muzan. 'Muzan'. I whine as I try saying his name. My throat is scratchy so I can sound out words a little better.
He turns towards me with a raised eyebrow. But once he notices my appearance, he smiles, wrapping an arm around my waist. "Lyla." He purrs, his voice deeper. His eyes start to glow. "You look ravishing." He looks hungry.
I blush at his statement. Does he want to eat me or bed me? 'I need help with the headpiece'.
He takes it from me, slipping it into my hair. He kisses my forehead. "Let's go before I change my mind." He says as a whisper. He holds me close as we're suddenly teleported into an alleyway.
He entwines our fingers. "Right around the corner is our destination."
'Lead the way'. We walk to the front door, walking inside a very fancy restaurant. This place screams expensive.
The waiter doesn't look up as we walk inside.
"Do you have a reservation, sir?" The waiter asks.
"I do." Muzan replies and the waiter's head shoots up in surprise.
"Oh, my apologies. Right this way." He grabs menus, leading us up to the second floor. This must be VIP's only. There are less tables, with walls blocking off the view of each table for privacy.
We get seated across from each other in a booth with comfortable seats. He sets the menus down in front of us.
"I'll let our waitress know you're here and she'll be with you shortly." The waiter is physically sweating with nervousness.
"Fine." Muzan answers curtly and the waiter rushes off in a different direction. Muzan watches him go, annoyance gracing his face.
I opened the menu, browsing the variety of delicious options.
"Bastard." Muzan mutters under his breath, taking me by surprise.
I clear my throat. "W-Who are you t-talking about?" I ask, breaking the silence. I stutter a little bit I can at least get some words out.
Muzan shakes his head. "It's nothing. Have you decided what you want?" He asks, closing his menu, having already decided what he wants.
"I'm t-trying to decide." I look over the menu. I take a sip of water. The water soothing my throat.
"Get two or three options, that way you can try a little bit of each." He offers. "I'll be sure to ask for a menu. You can always tell me if there's something you want, I'll get it for you."
Smiling. I pick three different dishes with different sides. Once we order, they say it'll be a few minutes. I sit back, looking around.
"Do I w-want to know the total for our dinner?" I inquired, wondering if he would really divulge the information.
"You don't and you don't need to. I've been around a long time. I have money put back with no real reason to spend it until I had met you." He smiles, taking my hand in his. "I'll get you some more clothes and some pajama sets. I want you to be comfortable." His thumb caressing my hand.
"I see. I guess I can't argue with you."
He shakes his head. "Even if you tried to argue, you wouldn't succeed in changing my mind."
I chuckle. "I've b-been meaning to bring something else up with y-you." I tell him, taking a sip of my drink, then setting it down.
He raises an eyebrow, now curious. "What might that be?"
"W-When are we h-having our wedding?" I ask, tilting my head with curiosity.
He rests his chin on his fist. "I was trying to decide that, as well. We shall have it at the water palace. I'll take care of the everything."
Nodding, I noticed a waitress bringing food this way. She sets it down and looks at Muzan. "Anything else you need from me, sir?" She asks with a sensual voice, implying she wants something from him.
"What exactly are you asking me?" He tone turns dangerous. He's holding back a glare and a smart remark.
She blushes, thinking he's into her. "I get off work in twenty. That way you can make sure your sister returns home safely."
My jaw drops. She thinks we're siblings?! We look nothing alike. I make fists, abruptly standing, taking both the waitress and even Muzan by surprise.
"How dare you speak to my fiancé in that manner! You should learn some respect. Get out of here before we get you fired!" I yell, pointing towards the stairs, leading to the main lobby. "GO!" I didn't stutter surprisingly.
She takes a step back, quickly bows and runs off with her tail between her legs. I sit down, fuming with anger.
I look up at Muzan, his face unreadable until he suddenly smiles. He laughs and I think my heart melted. He has such a warm laugh.
'What's so funny'? I ask, picking up my fork. My voice gone from my yelling, but it was worth it.
He composes himself. "I'm surprised that you got angry at her, that's all. It was...unexpected. Do you feel better? I believe you have some pent up anger you need to release before you really explode." He smiles.
I sigh. 'Maybe your right. Did I go too far'? I ask, suddenly feeling bad about it.
Muzan shakes his head. "I was very close to having her killed later on this evening."
'I won't bat an eye if you did. Some people need to be put in there place sometimes. Adult or not. Us, siblings? We look nothing alike'. I sigh, starting to eat my meals.
"Are you not going to eat, Muzan?" I ask, curious.
"I don't need food. Enjoy it for the both of us." He smiles lovingly. "How about taking some dessert back with us for later?"
I nod quickly. "I'll definitely be too full after this, so that sounds like a great idea."
Suddenly a different waiter appears. "Hello, sir and miss. Sorry to interrupt. I hear one of our employees was disrespectful. Here is a bottle of wine on the house and your bill is twenty percent off. We hope you continue to come back." He says, setting the wine bottle on table.
Muzan nods. "We appreciate you coming up here." He says, then simply looks away, done speaking. The waiter leaves.
I savor bites of each of my meals. The meat melts in your mouth making me want more. The vegetables are cooked to perfection, the seasonings not too overpowering.
Thirty minutes later, my belly is full and I'm content. I lean back in my chair. "T-That was the best m-meal I've ever had. T-Thank you." I smile.
"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. Ready to go?"
"Y-Yes, please. I just w-want to get into something comfortable and t-take a nap." I say, standing up.
Going to the front counter, we pick out the desserts for them to box up for us. Then Nakime transports us back to the manor.

Author's Note
I had to revise this chapter after I wrote it.
I momentarily forgot Lyla couldn't speak yet. So I made it to where she is mouthing her words then her voice is slightly hoarse and she stutters.
