Tw⚠️: Nothing too extreme. Minor talks of past death, Valentino mentioned, injury is there in not so many details, language...

Lmk if I need to add or put warning emojis in the actual chapter.

"Sometimes, you look the same

Just like you did before the accident

When you're staring into space

It's hard to believe you don't remember it

Woke up in the ambulance

You pieced it all together on the drive

I know you don't remember calling me

But I told you, even then you looked so pretty

In a hospital bed

I remember you said you were scared

And so was I..." -The 30th, Billie Eilish

~~~Tony, Age 10:~~~
"Johnny!" Anthony, shouts at his brother at eleven at night. "Johnny!!!"
"Porco cane, Tony! Ma che cazzo!"
"I'm bored!" Tony says dramatically.
"And?" Johnny asks. "Why is that my problem?"
"Because you're the big brother! You're supposed to entertain me!" He says.
"You're supposed to be sleeping, not playing. You and Molly both." Johnny says, looking behind the chair he was sitting in at their little sister.
"How'd you know I was hiding?" Molly asks, walking in front of the chair to face Johnny.
"Call it a lucky guess." Johnny says. "Or call it...you breathe too fucking loud to be stealthy."
"No fair! I have asthma!" She says.
"You two are supposed to be in bed." Johnny says again.
"Non mi va." Tony says. "Sleep is boring!"
"Yeah!" Molly jumps onto the arm of the chair where Johnny was sitting.
Johnny sighs. "Cosa vuoi!?" He asks while waving a hand at them. "Why won't you just go to bed?"
"Well, dad isn't back yet." Molly says.
"So? He's late all the time." Johnny says. "This isn't new."
"But, he's not usually this late!" Molly explains. "Usually he's home by now. I'm...I'm scared."
Johnny sighs. "He's okay, Mol. I promise. I'm sure he and the guys are just celebrating somewhere. There's no reason to be scared. Dad's tough." He promises.
"Will you read that book mom used to?" Tony asks, causing both his siblings to stop and look at him.
"What?" Johnny asks him, voice sounding sort of sad and shocked at the same time.
"Uhm. I was wondering if you'd read that book ma used to...about the mermaid." Tony says, rubbing his arm anxiously. "I'm not scared like she is...it just- it used to help us sleep." He explains.
It has been three years since the passing of their mom...
She used to read that story to them all the time.
They haven't heard the story since her passing...
Tony doesn't even remember how it ends. He didn't dare ask his dad to read it...and he didn't want to upset Johnny, so he didn't ask him either.
