[She took the book and hastily kept it at its proper place without even noticing it.]
[After there were a lot of hustle and bustle they both stuffed the books into the shelf.]
Amelia: (gathering 2 to 3 books in between her arms) Huhh! You have so many books.
[Victor nodded while stacking the magazines.]
Amelia: (stuffing the book) Are you a book worm?
Victor: (nodding) Yeah. You can say that.
Amelia: (widened) wow. Interesting. Then who is your favorite author?
Victor: (slowly) Shakespeare.
Amelia: This means Sonnets. Right?
Victor: Hmm.. From 1 to 154.
[In the meantime, she noticed some dust and dirt through the other corner of the attached kitchen.]
Amelia: Ewwwwww. Don't you clean?
[Then looked at him. ]
Victor: Actually.... I....
Amelia: Don't worry. (Assuringly) Give me the broom and I am cleaning this mess.
Victor:(interrupting) No no. You don't need to. I can do it by myself.
[Amelia rested her both hands on her waist over her t-shirt and rolled her eyes.]
Amelia: Did I ask you for your opinion?
Victor: Ummm.. No... I didn't mean... (Stopped)
Amelia: (interrupting and gesturing her palm to stop him) Then you mean what?
Victor: Actually.... (Gently) You came to my house.. How.... (Hesitantly) How can you clean.
[Amelia couldn't help but chuckled at his innocent behavior.]
Amelia: (pressing her giggling and rolling his eyes) Then what am I doing till now? (After a pause) And one sec once, am I guest to you or a friend to you?
[Victor couldn't help but his lips at embarrassment. He left and came back with a wiper and just about to hand it to her.]
Amelia: (looking at the wiper) Did I ask you to bring a wiper? It is dust not a river flowing through your castle.
[This time he felt more embarrassment than before. But let it go because he knew that she was totally right.]
Amelia: (giggling but muttering to herself) Such a dumbo!
[Finally he brought a vaccum cleaner and handed it to her.]
[He continuously felt embarrassing and despair. So he made a distance and went to the kitchen as if he could make something for her. He also thought that maybe it'll be a thank you on behalf of him.]
[At first he washed his hands at the sink and rotated the tap. Then he plunged in the juicer and opened the lead.]
Victor: (shocking) Uhhhhh.... Ouuw....
[He looked into the jar where there were some leftover orange slushies in it. He got a very bad smell from it that anyone could vomit over it.]
Victor: (slapped his forehead) Am I really an idiot or what? (Jerked his head) Urgghhhhn!!
[He peeped through the sliding breakfast counter and glanced at her once. She was still determined in her cleaning process. She was not only clean that side but also started vacuuming the whole ground floor.]
[He unconsciously smiled to see her. Maybe she was the main pillar that Victor learned to smile, learned to speak a little, learned to take some help and learned to depend on someone who could be trustworthy. In these days he started to believe again. He started to think the something 'New' is still possible. He started to feel that he's not alone now and will not ever.]
