[The baby boy shyly stepped forward, revealing a delicate blue rose clutched in his small hand. The rose was slightly wilted but still beautiful, its soft blue petals a striking contrast against the boy’s tiny fingers.]

The Baby Boy: (softly, almost whispering) This is for you, Mr. Victor.

[Victor’s breath caught in his throat, he knelt down in front of the boy, as he took the rose from the boy. The simple yet thoughtful gesture stirred something deep within him. As he held the rose, he felt a lump of emotions rise in his chest, his heart swelling with a mix of gratitude, love, and an unexpected wave of vulnerability.]

Victor: (voice trembling slightly) Thank you… This is… (softly) really special.

[As he looked down at the blue rose, his vision blurred with unshed tears. It had been so long since someone had shown him such innocent kindness, and the realization of how much these children meant to him hit hard, his eyes now glistening with tears that he couldn’t hold back.]

Victor: (kneeling and placing a hand on the boy’s cheek) You’re such a sweet boy. This means more to me than you can imagine.

[The baby boy smiled, his eyes lightened up with pride. Victor, overwhelmed with emotion, gently pulled him into a hug, holding him close as a few tears finally escaped down his cheeks.]

Victor: (whispering) Thank you, little one. You’ve made me very happy.

[The other children, noticing Victor’s tender moment with the baby boy, suddenly rushed over, eager to join in. In their excitement, they toppled over one another, giggling and laughing as they piled onto Victor, wrapping their small arms around him in a group hug.]

Baby Boy 3: (shouting excitedly) Group hug!

Baby Girl 4: (laughing) Yaaayyyyy...

[Victor found himself buried under a pile of joyful, giggling children, their laughter filling the room. Despite the overwhelming situation, he couldn’t help but smile through his tears, his heart brimming with affection for each and every one of them.]

Victor: (laughing softly, his voice choked with emotion) Alright, alright! There’s enough room for everyone!

[He gently embraced the children, his arms wrapping around as many as he could. He felt their warmth, their innocence, and their pure love surrounding him, and it was more than he could ever have asked for. Each child received a tender pat on the head, a gentle squeeze, or a soft word of praise.]

Victor: (adoring the children with soft pats) You’re all so amazing. I love you sweethearts.

[The children, sensing the sincerity in his words, held onto him even tighter, their earlier energy now replaced with a warm, comforting stillness. They snuggled close, content just to be near him, and Victor closed his eyes, savoring the moment.]

Victor: (whispering to himself) I’ve never felt more at home.

[For the first time in a long while, Victor felt a profound sense of peace. He stayed there, on the floor, surrounded by the children, as the last of his tears dried up, leaving behind only a deep, lasting sense of love and belonging.]

[On the other hand at the same time the Father approached everyone.]

Father: (softly) I think it’s time for bed, everyone. Let’s thank them (pointing at Amelia) for such a wonderful day.

Baby boy 7: (hugging Victor) Don’t go, Mr. Victor! Stay and play with us forever!

Victor: (hugging back) I’ll come back soon, I promise. And next time, I’ll bring even more goodies.
