[Amelia watched as Victor limped to his bedroom, his shoulders slumping with fatigue. She sighed, hoping he would find some peace. She decided to tidy up a bit more before checking on him.]
[After she finished clearing the mess, finally the broken glass and beer bottles were gone and the room looked much more orderly. But when her vision went through the stairs she saw blood stamps at every steps. It was withered by time and the color was dark pale red. She went upstairs and looked at the opened door of a bedroom where the steps of the stamp followed the bed. Her heart ached watching the bloody mess. She took a wiper and also cleaned them. Amelia's mind was still preoccupied with Victor's well-being.]
[After about an hour, she went to his room, worried about his rest. She knocked but as there was no response, she gently opened the door and peeked inside.]
[INSIDE THE ROOM]
[Victor was sprawled out on his bed, sound asleep. The blanket was tousled revealing his right leg. His face was relaxed, and he looked like a child who had finally found some rest after a long, hard day. Amelia couldn't help but smile at the sight of him. His hair was tousled. She stood there for a moment, feeling a rush of affection for him.]
Amelia: (whispering to herself) Looking so peaceful. Like a little boy.
[She stepped to the bedside, hesitated to wake him, knowing he needed his rest. But she also knew he hadn't eaten anything after breakfast. She quietly approached his bed and gently shook his shoulder.]
Amelia: (softly) Victor, wake up.
Victor: (groaning, slowly opening his eyes) Amelia? What's wrong?
Amelia: (smiling) Nothing's wrong. I just wanted to ask if you wanted something to eat. You haven't had anything since breakfast.
Victor: (rubbing his eyes) Hmm I guess I'm hungry a little bit. What do you have in mind?
Amelia: (in mind) Now he'll definitely go for a coffee.
Victor: (continuing) Ummm....... Some coffee?
[Amelia's face suddenly turned serious, and she shook her head firmly.]
Amelia: (sternly) No coffee for you, Victor. You know caffeine will mess with your sleep.
Victor: (pouting) But I really want coffee, Amelia. Please?
Amelia: (crossing her arms) No way. You have a hard time sleeping. I'm not giving you anything with caffeine.
Victor: (pleading with puppy dog eyes) Please, Amelia? Just a little bit?
[Amelia sighed, trying to resist his cute behavior. She knew how important it was for him to get proper rest.]
Amelia: (firmly) I said (louder) NO, Victor. And I mean it.
[Seeing that he wasn't going to win this argument, Victor sighed and gave in. He again curled up under the blanket. Amelia smiled triumphantly and left the room, heading to the kitchen. She thought about what she could make for him that would be satisfying but also help him to relax. After a few moments of thinking, she decided to make a warm glass of almond milk with honey and cinnamon, and a plate of sliced apples with peanut butter and a sprinkle of chia seeds.]
Amelia: (talking to herself while preparing the snack) This should be soothing and healthy for him.
[She carefully prepared the snack, arranging everything neatly on a tray. She then returned to Victor's room, balancing the tray carefully.]
Amelia: (entering the room) Here you go, Victor. Something special for you.
Victor: (sitting up, curious) What is it?
