[Victor rushed back to his home, his mind was a whirlwind of anger and hurt. As soon as he reached his door, he slammed it shut behind him and sank to the floor if living room. Tears streaming down his face. The drops of tears became evident that he hurt the person who cared for him the most. The weight of his emotions overwhelmed him, and he curled up and shrank more. He thud his right hand harshly on the floor again and again.]
Victor: (continuing thud harshly) How?...... (Raising his voice) How can I??
[CAFÉ WILD BEANS]
[Meanwhile, Amelia stood on the quiet roadside, feeling the weight of her failure pressing down on her.]
Linda: (gently held her by her shoulder) Amelia, are you okay?
Amelia: (calmly) Hmm. I'm fine.
Linda: (gently) But, what about Mr. Stark?
[VICTOR'S HOME]
[Victor paced back and forth in his living room, his mind was a storm of anger and self-loathing. How could he have misbehaved with Amelia? She was the only person who truly cared about him, who is the one that Victor started smiling, he could be everywhere with his unacceptable fangs and he had driven her away. The guilt was suffocating.]
Victor: (shouting to himself) How could I do this? She didn't deserve that!
[He scratched his hair in rage. His footsteps were heavy, each step echoing loudly in the empty room. The walls seemed to close in on him, amplifying his turmoil.]
[He stopped abruptly and the scene of them throwing jellybeans passed before his eyes as a series of pictures, while they were both smiling. The sight of it brought a fresh wave of anguish, and he lashed out, knocking the picture off the wall.]
Victor: (voice breaking) I ruined everything!
[He sank to his knees, his hands started trembling. The pain of his guilt was so intense and the emotional agony tearing him apart.]
Victor: (whispering) Amelia...
[Tears streamed down his face continuously. His body shook with sobs as he rocked back and forth, the weight of his actions crushing him.]
Victor: (pleading to the empty room) I'm so sorry, Amelia. Please forgive me...
[The room was silent, save for the sound of his ragged breathing and the occasional sniffle. The realization of what he had done, how he had hurt the one person who truly cared for him, was almost too much to bear. The memory of pushing her away replayed over and over in his mind, a relentless torment. He felt like he was drowning in a sea of regret.]
[Desperation clawed at him. As he couldn't found a way to escape from it, he stumbled to the kitchen. His hands shook as he pulled out three or four beer bottles from the fridge, his mind was racing. He needed to numb the pain, to drown out the guilt. He poured the beer into a glass, the liquid sloshing over the sides. Without thinking, he gulped it down, the cold liquid burned his throat. But it wasn't enough. He poured another glass, and another, gulping them down one after the other.]
[But all in vain. The alcohol didn't take away the memories. It didn't dull his pain, the pain he was continuously bearing. In a fit of rage, he grabbed the glass and hurled it against the wall, the sound of shattering glass echoing through the empty floor. He threw the bottles next, each one exploding into shards as it hit the floor.]
Victor: (screaming) Why can't (running his fingers through his hair) I forget?
[The living room was a mess of broken glass and spilled beer, but Victor didn't care. His vision blurred with tears of frustration and guilt. He turned to rush upstairs. As he stepped towards the stairs his foot landed on a shard of glass. Pain shot through him, which was sharp and immediate.]
