as soon as suna arrived at the bar, his eyes began searching for you. it had been a year since you both had closure; he started courting you again and even introduced himself to your family again.
despite having a hard time trusting him again, he was patient with you. he took his time and slowly earned your trust without rushing you.
and just like that, you slowly and eventually trusted him again. just recently, you had just said yes to be his.
to be his lover once more.
ume and aoki decided to celebrate it today with you at a bar since you were finally of legal age and also because you wanted to seem like an adult celebrating because you were entering college soon.
"suna! over here!" aoki waved her hands up in the air for suna to see easier. "she's a lightweight drinker." ume said to him, grabbing ahold of the glass of beer you were about to drink making you whine.
"how much did she drink?" he said, putting your arm on his shoulder as he carried you, princess style. "at least six to seven glasses of beer but i think she was already drunk on her third glass."
he nodded and looked at you in his arms, snuggling into him. "i'll take her home. i'll pay for all this too." the two girls' eyes sparkled, "thank you! please take care of her!"
once everything was paid and settled, he laid you down on his car's passenger seat. "rin?" you drunkenly asked, "hm?" he hummed, putting a seatbelt around you.
"i love you."
he glanced at you for a few seconds before chuckling, "i know, baby, but tell me that once you're sober." you pouted at him as he walked around the car to the driver seat. "but, i am.. sober! 'm just tipsy,"
"how about getting some sleep? i'll drop you off."
you quietly grumbled and snuggled on suna's right arm that was on the gear stick. he glanced at your sleeping figure with a small smile curling up his lips, "i love you too, baby." he whispered.
despite that, you were once the lacuna in his book of life and he was once yours, it seemed like fate had another plan for you two.
to continue the book of life, it was both your destinies to fill up the lacunae that you had once caused in each other's book.
after all, you were the missing portion, the gap, the lacuna in suna rintarou's life.
