"so, would you rather tell me about brucks now or later?" gioia asked as kyler led the group to his fraternity house. he seemed to have demetri and mickey in his tight grip, the three walking with their arms interlocked.

"later?" hawk requested, his eyes still on the ground. "i don't want to ruin... whatever kyler is making us do." gioia scoffed. "anything that involves tyler is already ruined."

he cracked a smile. "yeah, i know."

ahead of them, mickey was attempting to squirm out of his grip, though kyler was unusually strong. "sorry but where are you taking us?" she questioned, making kyler shake his head. "no, don't apologise. and i'm taking you guys to have the time of your lives, minnie."

"you know it's mickey." she groaned as they approached the theta omega frat house. there were strips of toilet roll hanging everywhere and red solo cups scattered around as people danced. she sighed, "why am i not surprised?"

it didn't take long for the group to be thrown into the whole frat party, each with their own plastic cup of alcohol in their grasp.

"whoo! i love college!" brucks exclaimed, sipping on two different cans of beer simultaneously. they stood, watching the boy in disbelief as he enjoyed the party.

"bro, you wanna see a party trick?!"

"i can't believe brucks got into mit." hawk complained, "and was he speaking latin earlier?"

"i don't know." demetri shrugged, "maybe your fists unlocked his dormant brain." he joked. hawk nudged him on the shoulder, making his smile drop. sighing, gioia scanned the crowd to see what she could entertain herself with. taking her by surprise, she spotted wyatt sitting on a table surrounded by a group. he was chugging on a bottle of wine, before passing it to his friends.

"hey, i'll be right back." the girl announced. she didn't wait for anyone to reply as she strolled through the party, weaving her way through the dancing bodies and the intimate couples. when wyatt caught gioia approaching, his eyes lit up.

"could you guys give me a second?" he requested. his friends nodded, leaving him to be alone. "hey, man. what's up?"

"kyler roped you into this too?" gioia joked, taking a sip of her favourite vodka cocktail, vodka mixed with cherry pepsi max and ice. wyatt chuckled, "kyler? no that was just a coincidence." he told her. watching the two interact from across the room, hawk moved over to the keg and refilled his cup with beer.

"h-have you applied here?" she questioned. wyatt nodded, "my friend and i wanted to go here together. but now he... he can't. so i'm just here in memory of him."
