0: Mochi & Boat

"He he hee" 

Laughter echoed in the dimly lit hallway as a girl with pink and green hair ran through them with a plate of Sakura mochi. She had just made a freshly made batch of them to enjoy as a snack while watching her favourite anime named Demon Slayer. 

She sled on the floor with her socks and popped one of the Sakura mochi into her mouth but immediately spat it out, finding something inside of it. It was, a piece of paper?

'Dear Y/N Kanroji, Master Chen has personally invited you to participate in his tournament of elements. Secrecy is of the utmost importance, tell no one or suffer the consequences. If you wish to participate meet on the pier at midnight and leave your weapons behind.' After reading the message, the paper poofed to thin air.

'Huh, sounds fishy. And ominous. But I guess I'll go!' The girl thought and happily skipped to her bedroom with her plate of sakura mochi still in her hands.

Y/N was currently packing her bags while munching on her mochi and Demon Slayer streaming on the TV.  In front of her sat two large bags, full of the stuff that she had packed. She just hoped that she wasn't the only one to pack so much stuff.

She felt a little embarrassed by the thought of bringing more things than anyone else. 'Maybe I'll get robbed while staying there?!' She couldn't help but to think anxiously. But even so, she decided to push the bad feelings and thoughts to the side as she took her bags and began her journey to the pier.

'Huh, seems like I arrived to the docks last.' The girl scanned the area and found a group of four people quietly conversing with each other. 'They seem like nice people!'. The group were clad in full ninja outfits. There were a few people other than them in ninja outfits, but the rest were in regular clothing or in a different type of fighting gear.

Y/N looked down at her own outfit, which was a pair of pink heels and a dress. She felt a little embarrassed for deciding to dress up for this occasion, but it was a little too late to change now.

She was holding two large suitcases of the colours pink and green in her hands, which was more stuff than what anyone else had brought, seeing as everyone else had one or two small sports bags. She felt a little embarrassed about it, but a girl needs to do what a girl gotta do. 

She smiled to herself when all of a sudden she was approached by a man with grey skin. She hadn't seen him before, so she must have arrived second last.

"And who might you be, pretty lady?" The man asked towering over her. She blushed a little at the compliment before pushing it aside for the sake of herself.

"Hello! I'm Y/N Kanroji, the elemental master of love!" She beamed and smiled at the man, making the man smirk before taking a hold of one of Y/Ns hands and placing a kiss on top of it. Y/N Was a little puzzled on why he would kiss her hand, but she just thought that he was a gentleman.

"My name is Shade, elemental master of shadow. It's wonderful to meet such great people here." 

Y/N only smiled at him and continued to converse with him as he was the one to approach her first until it was time to board the boat. 

She was going onto the boat with the help of Shade who was holding one of her big bags while the quietly conversing group stood right behind them patiently waiting for their turn to board the boat. The group seemed to be eying her every move, but she paid them no mind.
