4: Fighting and Helping

Y/N was currently watching the first battle of the day which was between her friend Griffin and the master of Gravity named Gravis. 

To win the battle you must get your hands on the Jade sword which in their case was located on top of a big Sakura tree.

Y/N was worried that Griffin would lose as the fight went on, but then the fight took an interesting turn when Griffin suddenly snatched the Jade sword from right under Gravis' nose.

"Yes! You go, Griffin!" Y/N cheered him on which made Griffin turn towards her and wink. Y/N in return playfully blew him a kiss which he pretended to catch and put on his heart.

But then it was already time for the next battle, which was between her other friend Neuro and the elemental aster of Nature, Bolobo. This battle was won fairly easily by Neuro even though he did get himself into a bit of a pickle when he was caught by Bolobos' vines, but in the end, he still won by using his powers to cause pain inside of Bolobos' mind and swiftly take the blade. 

Neuro in the end came up to Y/N and kissed her on her hand in front of everyone and then hugged her while she was congratulating him. This action made the people around them feel a little jealous of Neuro for the attention that he was getting from Y/N, some more than others.

But as soon as this battle was won, soon also started the next one.

This time in the arena on top of a wooden bridge which was located atop a river full of lava, was fighting none other than Kai, who had come here to this island with an important mission and against him Ash, the master of smoke.

Ash was currently overpowering Kai by a landside but Y/N still had a little bit of hope for Kai to win. 

But with the battle going on longer and longer she grew increasingly anxious. This was noticed by Lloyd who was sitting next to her as he decided to take hold of her hand and squeeze it in order to try and comfort her. This action gave Y/N a little more hope and she smiled at him in gratitude.

"You can do it, Kai! I believe in you!" She shouted, deciding to encourage Kai a little bit, hoping that he would regain his battle spirit.

This action seemed to work because as soon as she said it, Kai was able to get the Jade sword in just the nick of time.

But while she was happy now, she wasn't sure if she herself would move on to the next round as she was going against Bibi, the elemental master of Dendro.

(I realized that I had to make an OC if Y/N was going to fight someone, as all of the other characters are currently relevant to the plot armour of this season's arc. Just imagine that this Bibi guy is the knockoff Walmart version of Baizhu from Genshin Impact that's like a thousand times weaker, mkay?)

Y/N was feeling nervous which also made her hands sweaty and shaky, but she still pretended to be brave in front of the others since she didn't want to let them down.

She heard her friends give her one last cheer before she entered the fighting ground. Everyone else's arena was different from each other's and hers was no exception, as her and Bibi's arena was just a plain field with flowers all around, the only exception being the tree trunk in the middle of the field of which the Jade sword was rested on top of.
