hey!

hey everyone! i know it's been a while since i've updated this book, but i wanted to jump in and say that no, i haven't forgotten about jude and corio, and no i haven't forgotten about you guys either.

i took a long break to regather my inspiration for this story because i don't know if you can tell... but this is a huge project! i've always wanted to write a hunger games fic with a full cast of ocs, but the concept of a hunger games that's entire premise is also designed by me is a newer one to that want, so it became a little overwhelming balancing it all, despite the fact that i had so so much muse for it all!

that being said, over my break, the love i held for it has slowly been rekindling until now when it spilled over. i am writing again, having to take notes to keep track of the things i had planned and remind myself of my plot points...

because trust me you guys, there's a lot in the works. and has been. even when i quit writing, i'll let you in on a secret — i've had the next two books in drafts as preparation for this one's ending just waiting.

THAT was how much i've had planned out.

while i drifted toward other projects (and even finished one!) this is by far the biggest project i have under my belt.

so i wanna thank you all for your patience and support! and consider this a callback to this fic because trust me, more is coming. you will finally get to see my games ;) and the future of the aftermath of them.

and eventually, a spin off. but you didn't hear it from me.

like i said. BIGGGG plans!

but yes! this is just me checking back in, reminding everyone i'm alive, saying thank you for the continuous love even in my lengthy break, and promising that big things are coming.
