So quick CW, Echo does drink a beer in this one and goes about starting to process the death. I think that's it though. And! This is the final chapter of Arc 2! :)

You Were the Only One I Could Call

Trees. Lots and lots of trees were the first thing you saw. Also the moon. It was unusually bright, casting a soft glow on the snow falling all around you. Dark clouds were rolling in by the second though, covering the beautiful moon and its light. You shivered as a harsh gust of wind swept through the forest.

This was starting to look more and more like a horror movie cliche.

"Hello?" Yeah. Not helping with the cliche thing here.

You were dressed in your costume- makeup and all it seemed. Your Minecraft sword glowed dimly in your hand. You walked for what seemed like an eternity, only stopping once a cabin came into your view.

You instantly froze when you laid eyes on its worn wood. It was the same cabin Disarray kept you in. The same one he tortured you in.

As if the realization caused a shift in tone, the scene changed. You blinked and suddenly you were tied to the chair again; You were still in your hero costume for some reason, but your sword was nowhere to be seen, though.

The cold wind from before drifted through the room. You shivered and were about to rub your arms for warmth before remembering you couldn't. You were... tied to a chair... in the middle of a windowless room in the cabin...

As if the context clues weren't enough, the door creaked open. You stared at it fearfully, watching General Disarray step into view through the shadowed doorway. He held your sword in his hand, the enchantments glowing dimly in the dark room. His grin was wicked, showing just how deranged the 8th grader really was.

The scene changed again; now you stood alone before General Disarray on the bridge. The same bridge you died on.

You took a hesitant step back. Disarray took a step forward. You don't want to die again. You can't. It hurt. It hurt so much, you had been in so much pain that you had screamed your throat raw because of it. You had been throwing up blood.

You don't want that. Not again.

"Stop it," you whispered. "Stop. I can't do this again."

The villain laughed manically, just as he had before. The sword in his hand was raised over his head for mere moments. Then he swung.

You dove out of the way, landing very ungracefully on the asphalt. You closed your eyes tightly when your body hit the ground. The sound of your sword slicing up the road didn't help either.

Disarray glared at your fallen form. He raised the sword high in the air again, but instead of swinging down like he did before, he waited.

The clouds above swirled dangerously. Thunder rumbled in the distance. Your eyes widened, the size of saucers. You were scared shitless.

A loud CRACK-BOOM and a bright flash of blue light. There was muffled shouting behind you, but they sounded more like whispers with the way you felt your blood rushing in your ears.

"Stop! I can't fight him!" you screamed. Your eyes screwed shut and your hands harshly tugged at your scalp.

Time stilled. The lightning never left the sword. It seemed to have paused completely. You shakily rose to your feet and took a step in his direction. Just as you stepped, Disarray and the sword shattered into pixels, disappearing completely with another sudden gust of wind. No trace that either he or the sword were there was left behind, thanks to the wind.
