The Exchange Student

Evangeline

I was locked away in my room after getting picked up during school I wasn't feeling good, I got an episode I haven't told Adrien about it, but Chiara and him weren't making it any better. 

 I hear footsteps as I'm crying and that's when I hear Valetin enter the room "sister are you okay? mom said you haven't came out since you got home what's wrong I can hear you crying" I get up and sit up as I'm crying he comes closer to hug me before I say "I feel like I'll lose Adrien to Chiara she's pretty Valetin and from Italy, and I know I shouldn't worry about it since he's not my boyfriend but you know how much I like Adrien, you know I haven't felt like this since the last boy I dated."

  Valetin is still holding me as I'm crying he process says what I say before saying "I know you like Adrien a lot and I could see right through Chiara her intentions aren't good but there's nothing we can do Eve, that's his friend and the office made him show her around." I cry even more when I see Valetin texting on his phone I ask who he's texting he said one of his friends. I haven't texted Adrien I've been ignoring his text and calls so I wondered if valetin was texting him.

  30 minutes later I hear footsteps come into my room I didn't know who it was but I thought it was Valetin so I said "Val if it's you go away." It was silenced when I finally heard Adrien talk "it's not Val it's me Cara Mia" I sit up and see him with flowers. 

  "Adrien what are you doing here?" He sits down before speaking "Eve you haven't answered any of my calls or text I got worried because you didn't even tell me you went home". I stay silent before he speaks again "I want to know what's wrong ml did I do something wrong? Was it Chiara speak to me Cara mia".

  At the mention of Chiara's name I turn away I stay silent before I say "Adrien I ignored you because during lunch she gave us no time to talk she gave me dirty looks and if I came home was because she found my instagram and texted me, telling me to leave you alone because she was gonna date you." Adrien looked at me in concerned I pulled out my phone to show him the text.

Hearing and seeing what Chiara told Evangeline had me in shock I didn't want to believe it was true, Chiara didn't look like the type of girl to do something like that but I guess I thought wrong about her. 

Evangeline begins to cry before saying "Adrien I don't want to lose you, I've never felt the way I do for you. I know I might sound like an overthinker or insecure but Chiara's really pretty." Hearing those words come out of Evangeline made me tear up Evangeline was perfect for me.

 I hold Evangeline close to me before speaking "Eve I like you a lot and nothing could change that Chiara isn't my type the girls from Italy don't catch my attention and your perfect for me and I know this might sound too soon but Evangeline I love you and I would do anything to not lose you and I'll stop talking to Chiara if it means you won't actually listen to her and leave me alone."

"I love you"  did that just come out of Adrien's mouth I thought to myself. I looked at him saying "I love you too Adrien and your the best thing that has happened to me." Adrien gives me a tight hug and after talking everything out. He door dashed us some food because he knew I hadn't ate dinner I don't know what life would be like without Adrien, he's the sweetest person ever and I love him for reassuring me and making sure everything is fine. He's the definition of perfect and I think Chicago needs more guys like him because everyone here is just players. I'm forever grateful for Adrien.
