Chapter 18: The Other Side Of The Story

(Disclaimer: I do not own Mighty Med. Also, I never said what hospital Lily was in so this makes sense!)

I'm so confused right now. Did I miss something? "Neal, is everything okay? You have that serious/concerned look on your face." I ask, confused. You know that look, right? "I just can't believe that after half a year you just woke up." Neal states. Apparently so. "He didn't leave your side." Mozzie claims. Wait, what? "H-He didn't?" I ask, shocked. That's so sweet. "The only time he wasn't there was when visiting hours were over." Mozzie claims. Wow, that's crazy. "Thanks, Neal. How did you find out and what was it like?" I respond, curious. Neal sighs. "I actually wrote some of it." Neal states.

182 days ago, Day 1: Neal's P.O.V.

I wake up like I normally do and knock on Lily's door. No responce. She must be at the office already. I go to the office. "Hey, Peter. Have you seen Lily anywhere?" I ask, a bit concerned. "No. She's normally with you all the time. I was going to ask you the same thing." Jones claims. This is really odd. "Maybe check her room again." Jones suggests. "You sure?" I ask. I really need to find her. "Go." Jones orders.

Back at June's: Neal's P.O.V.

I knock on the door and there's still no responce. It's also locked which I kind of understand. I pick the lock and go inside. She's on the floor. I check her heartbeat. She's still breathing so that's a good sign. She looked like she was about to leave for work. "Lily, you have to wake up." I say, concerned. She really has to. "Come on, Lily." I plead. No response. I see a peice of paper next to her. 'If found on floor please go into my pocket and push button.' the note reads. "All right." I say to myself.

I press the button. "Hello Adam, Bree, Chase, Leo, Mr. Davenport, and/or Douglas." The man, who I'm assuming is Lily's grandfather, greets. This must be as old as the hills because I'm not any of those people. "If Lily is on the floor, conked out do not be alarmed. She is taking a superhero test. It's something that half-Caldarians have to do almost every year before you're twenty-one so she's fine. If you see any injuries on her that just show up it's from the test and make sure to bandage them immediately. Just make sure that whatever you do if you end up taking her to the hospital, do not let the doctors..." Lily's Grandfather starts breaking up and then disappears.

Great, now what? I guess I should take her to the hospital, right? To make sure she has the right medical care and stuff like that. The question is, where do I take her and how do I make sure Elizabeth and Moz can visit her? I could take her to Mighty Med I guess. Although, I could wait for a bit. He said not to be alarmed if she's out for a day or two.

Two weeks later, Day 15: Neal's P.O.V.

It's been two weeks and she's still out of it. I have to get her to some kind of hospital. Where's that wormhole thing. I look for it in her room and see something glowing. It's her book. "It writes by itself?" I ask, shocked. And now I'm talking to myself which is something that Lily would do. I close it when I remember that she doesn't want me reading it.

I find the wormhole-transporter because it has a note on it as well that has it labeled. That's really clever. Learned from the best, right? I grab her hand and use the divice to get to Mighty Med.

Present day: Lily's P.O.V.

Rewind the music, I was at Mighty Med? Did it really change that much that I didn't recondize it? Also, how come The Doctor came in, instead of Oliver, Skylar, and Kaz? Maybe they did and I just have a foggy memory from being on pain meds or something. I'm so confused. "Did I see Oliver, Kaz, and Skylar yesterday?" I ask him. "Yeah. You don't remember?" Neal asks. "No, I don't. I remember seeing 'Doctor John Smith.'" I respond doing the air-quotes in my head because it was actually The Doctor.
