At the Burke's: Lily's P.O.V.
I knock on the Burke's. Neal's already there. "Lily, what did you call this meeting about?" Elizabeth asks. This is going to be really hard. "El, there's no easy way to do this..." I start up. This is so hard to do. "What is it?" Elizabeth asks. "Peter told me to tell you that he loves you very much and for us to tell baby Neal his stories." I state, not being able to say it. "Lily, what are you saying?" Neal asks. I can't believe I'm the one who has to tell them. "I'm saying that Peter is dead." I announce. "What?" Elizabeth asks. "He was shot by Keller. Keller faked his death and then I went in to save Neal and Peter was on his way but Keller shot him before I could get there. El, I'm so sorry." I explain.
We all start to cry. I can't believe this is happening. "This is all my fault. I had one job. Make sure that none of the main characters die. I failed." I apologize. I just don't know what to do with this right now. "You didn't fail Lily. It was your job to protect Neal, not Peter. You should not feel responsible for this at all. Just make sure you kick Keller's bass clef for me, okay?" Elizabeth asks. I totally will. "Got it. We have to tell the office. Peter also told me that Neal and I were the best friends he could ever ask for." I state. It was a day before their anniversary.
Elizabeth must be heartbroken.
At June's:
"Why did they write him off like this?! They shouldn't have written him off like this!" I exclaim to myself. Oh, my gosh. I'm just realizing something. Everything that happened in my dream is happening. Those really were visions of the future. There's only one thing that I can say to that...Oh, crap.
Day after the funeral, at the FBI: Lily's P.O.V.
"Diana, are you sure you can do this until we find a new handler?" Jones asks her. She's Diana, she can handle anything. "Yeah, I can do this." Diana states. I still can't believe that Peter's not going to be Neal's handler anymore. I don't know what to do. Tears start to swell in my eyes but I hold them back. "Lily, I think you need to take a break." Jones advises. Wait, what? "Jones, I want to work. It'll be a good distraction." I suggest. "Lily, I'm sorry but I'm putting you on three week suspension." Jones orders. Seriously? I sigh. "With all due respect, Jones..." I start up.
"Lily, you just went through a traumatic experience and you need to just clear your head. I'm going to need your badge please." Jones orders. "Okay. I'll see you in three weeks." I state, giving him my badge.
At June's: Lily's P.O.V.
"Jones put you on three week suspension?" Neal asks. I wish he didn't. "Yeah, he did. He thinks I need a break." I explain. "I agree." Neal states. You have got to be kidding me. "What? I'm in the perfect mental state to work." I argue. I'm totally fine. "Lily, you need to clear your head." Neal states. What? "That's exactly what Jones said." I respond. I don't think they're right. "He's right. You need to go somewhere. Somewhere where you know the future and won't stress you out." Neal suggests. What?
"Where would I go besides Eureka? I can't go until Season 4 is over." I ask. "Just go to one of your favorite movies." Neal suggests. That'll be hard to choose from. "I'll open it up to a random one that I've seen before and just see where I end up." I state. "Good idea. I'll look on the T.V. to see if I can find you and watch you every step of the way." Neal comforts. "Okay, fine. Stay out of trouble, okay? And don't kick Keller's butt without me." I say as I walk in.
In an unknown movie: Lily's P.O.V.
Okay, where am I? "Hey, Martha. Martha. You can't play catch by yourself. Pair up. Come on. Let's go." The P.E. teacher orders her. I'm in a high school P.E. class? "No. No, I'm good." claims. Oh, I know where I am! I'm in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. I love this movie and the actors/actresses in it. "Same with you." The P.E. teacher says to me. Oh, I'm going to have to get detention. "I agree with Martha on this one." I reply. Why do I have to get detention? "Okay. You two have to participate just like everybody else. Otherwise, why are you even here?" She asks. "It's a requirement." Martha and I respond. "You, Martha..." She starts up.
