THE THUNDER STRUCKS AND HEAVY RAIN FILLS the noise of the inside of mailanie's room, along side with her music playing on her tv. she was listening to 'Lovers Rock' by TV Girl at the moment.
she's softly singing the lyrics as she's doing her makeup. once she was finished getting ready, she didn't have much time to eat breakfast so she just packed a few extra snacks in her backpack.
once she was all set she put one of her airpods in her ear so she can listen to more music on the way. she grabbed her house keys and unlocked the door. but as soon as she opened it she immediately ducked when she saw someone's fist going straight at her.
she looks up and sighs when she's sees matt's eyes widened. "what the fuck matt!" she yells getting back up. "what the hell are you doing here?"
"i came to pick you up, i was about to knock."
"why?"
matt rolls his eyes at her, annoyed that she already forgot. "we're 'friends' now dumbass. i have to be nice so that means ima start picking you up."
mai freezes, she completely forgot about her agreement to being his "girlfriend" she sighs as she closes the door behind herself. "oh and your sitting next to me"
"oh my fucking gosh" she opens the car door and sits down as she looks behind herself and sees eli, madi and nick in the middle, and chris and genny in the back. she puts her bag down and buckles her seatbelt, listening to the music through her airpods.
