AS MATT WAS TAKING MAI TO HIS HOUSE, HE kept taking quick glances at her. she was slumped in the passenger seat, playing with the hem of her shirt.
'Welcome and Goodbye' by Dream, Ivory was playing softly as matt stayed focus on the road and mai was very lowly singing the lyrics.
"you doing okay?" matt asks looking over at her while he reaches a red light. she looks over at him and gets that feeling.
he was looking at her with sincere. "yeah i'm okay" she replies while giving him a soft smile.
the light turns green after a couple of moments. matt drives off going to his street. once he parked in the driveway he quickly got off and went to mai's side.
he opened her car door, watching her attempt to get off. "you need any help?" he asks sarcastically. she looks up at him and rolls her eyes. "im fine." she says while almost falling as she got off.
"yep you look fine to me.." he says as she tries to balance herself. "shut up matt"
"yes mam"
he continues to watch mai poorly walk to the front door. eventually he gives in and picks her up bridal style. "what are you doing?" she asks looking into his eyes as he fumbles with the keys to open the door. "saving your ass from falling"
