THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL MAI HONESTLY DIDN'T know how matt was able to do everything he was doing. he would throw his arm over her shoulder, or purposely touch her hand, or leg.
and it was hard for mai to not tell him to back off. but a small part of her didn't mind what he was doing. and she didn't know why. but now she was sitting with them at lunch, and sitting right next to matthew.
his arm is slung over her shoulder, while they're sitting close to each other. it's driving mai insane how he's able to do all of this so casually. but she's also wondering if he hates it, and if he wants to take his arm off of her.
she felt bad if he really did want to remove his arm so mai just had to ask.
"if you want you can take your arm off, i don't think zoe is around" mai whispers in his ear. if anything that looked like they flirting or something cause that's what every couple at school did. and a couple of random people in the cafeteria even noticed it.
"no i'm fine" matt whispers back. "do you want me to move?" he asks. "no, i was just asking for you. im fine" she replies forcing a small smile on her face. he nods his head in response as they look back to the conversation that was taking place with their friends.
"when i have kids im gonna make the best chocolate chip cookies" genny says while eating a bit out of a cookie. "you sound like monica from friends when she spend days trying to figure out phoebes grandmas recipe" mai says giggling.
