A COUPLE OF HOURS PASSED SINCE EVERYONE STOPPED texting in the group chat, mai started getting ready. she was currently doing her makeup as angie was in her room.
the two were talking about random things like their childhood memories, or stories from angie's work, or any drama from mai's school.
it was killing mai that she didn't tell angie that the whole 'relationship' with matt was fake. she told her sister everything.
even though she was 100% close with her group, she was beyond close with angie, and it went both ways. but mai was scared of how angie would react to the whole thing. so even though all she wanted to do was spill and tell her everything, she kept quiet about it.
"so what are you gonna wear for the party?" angie asks while getting up from her sisters neatly done bed. mai snaps out of her thoughts when she heard the question, "oh i don't know, i haven't picked out an outfit yet" mai responds while shrugging.
"oh my gosh you have to let me help you! i was thinking..." angie rambles on about different outfit ideas for mai. one thing that should've been mentioned was that angie was becoming a successful designer.
so anytime she had an opportunity to help mai pick out an outfit she wouldn't dare to skip it, even though she knew her little sister had good taste in style.
