THE WHOLE GROUP WAS CURRENTLY ON THEIR way to genny's house for her birthday party. it's been a few weeks since matt and mai posted that they were "official" so they've been spending more time together to post on their stories and tiktok's.
and while mailanie knows she can't have feelings for matt, they're there. she has feelings and it's confusing her. how is it that she's falling for someone she hates? for someone who hates her? for someone she's not even "dating"
"alright we're here" matt says as he parks in front of the house. they all got off the van and walk to the front steps. mai's shocked at how many people have already arrived, but then she remembers that genny invited everyone in her grade since she's cool with them.
except for zoe and alan.
"damn there's a lot of people" mai speaks. nick chuckles and walks towards the door. "it'll be fine! c'mon let's go find genny" they all walk inside and are immediately hit with the smell of alcohol.
mai shivers as she remembers what happened the last time she drank. she does not want to make that mistake again. nick leads everyone up the stairs in search of their friend.
"where the fuck is she?" eli mutters. "i'll go check in her room" matt says as he looks down the hallway. "i'll go downstairs then" mai says.
they all go their separate ways to look for her. as mai was making her way down the stairs, she noticed a familiar head in the kitchen. you would think it was genesis huh?
