Minji's heart was racing as she took her place on stage. She tried to focus on the music, but she couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. She knew the choreographer was still out there, waiting for his moment to strike.
As they began to perform, Minji caught glimpses of him in the wings, his eyes fixed on her with an unnerving intensity. She tried to ignore him, but she could feel his presence looming over her like a dark cloud.
Suddenly, Jungkook was by her side, his hand brushing against hers. "You're not alone," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the music.
Minji felt a surge of gratitude towards him. She knew she could count on him to be there for her, no matter what.
But as the performance went on, Minji couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. She knew the choreographer was waiting for his moment to strike, and she didn't know when or how he would do it.
As they took their final bow, Minji saw the choreographer step forward, a sinister smile spreading across his face. "Well done," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "But it's not over yet."
Minji felt a chill run down her spine as he turned and disappeared into the shadows. She knew that this was far from over.
As they left the stage, Minji was met with a mixture of concerned and frustrated expressions from the other members.
"Minji, what was that?" Suga asked, his voice tight with frustration. "You were completely off beat."
"I know, I'm sorry," Minji replied, feeling a lump form in her throat.
"Sorry isn't enough," J-Hope snapped. "We can't afford to have you messing up like that on stage."
Minji felt a surge of defensiveness. "I'm trying my best, okay? But it's not easy with him watching me all the time."
"Who's watching you?" Jimin asked, confusion etched on his face.
"The choreographer," Minji replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "He's been threatening me, trying to intimidate me."
The members exchanged skeptical glances. "Minji, we know you're stressed, but that's no excuse for your performance," V said gently.
Minji felt tears prick at the corners of her eyes. "You don't understand," she said, her voice shaking. "He's making me doubt myself, making me feel like I'm not good enough."
Jungkook stepped forward, his eyes flashing with anger. "That's enough," he said, his voice firm. "We believe you, Minji. And we'll support you, no matter what."
But the damage was done. The tension between Minji and the other members was palpable, and Minji couldn't shake off the feeling that she was all alone in this fight.
Minji sought out J-Hope, hoping to find a sympathetic ear. She found him in the practice room, stretching his arms and legs in preparation for their next rehearsal.
"Oppa," she said. J-Hope looked up, a hint of concern in his eyes.
"Minji, what's wrong?" he asked, his voice softening.
Minji took a deep breath and launched into an explanation of everything that had been happening - the choreographer's threats, her doubts and fears, and the tension between her and the other members.
J-Hope listened intently, his expression growing more and more serious. When Minji finished, he nodded thoughtfully.
"I had no idea it was this bad," he said. "I'm sorry, Minji. I should have been more supportive."
Minji felt a lump form in her throat as J-Hope opened his arms and pulled her into a warm hug.
"You're like a little sister to me, Minji," he said. "I'll always be here for you. And I'll talk to the others, make them understand what's going on."
