Now, you might think I'm crazy, and granted, you have every right to assume so, but I just had to do it. Do what, you may ask? Well, I just had to tell Charlie the truth. And by the truth, I mean the fact that my body seemed to be going through some weird changes. And no, it wasn't just puberty. This was far worse than that.

I told Charlie about my strange dreams, my enhanced hearing and strength, and the fact that I kept seeing a monstrous version of myself that seemed to want to claw out my eyes and bury me a thousand miles underground.

I didn't say the W word, and by W I mean Werewolf. Oh yes, it was getting to that point. How could it not be? After all the warnings I got from Hazel and my evil doppelgänger, they all had one thing in common: the full moon. Something was supposed to happen, something horrible during that time. I began to growl. I knew when I was being made fun of, and let's just say, whoever was brave enough to do so would never do it again.

"Look, boss," Charlie said, seeing my anger rise. "Are you sure you're feeling okay?"

I abruptly stopped walking. "I'm not crazy..."

"I never said that," Charlie said, raising his hands in defense. "I'm just worried."

I rolled my eyes as I listened to Charlie's responses. There was only one way to convince him.

I began to focus on the energy bottled up inside of me. The energy that wanted me to jump up and down rapidly, do a thousand pushups and squats, and top it off with a mile run as fast as I could.

The world began to slow down ever so slightly, and as it did, I began to move through this slow world. I rushed toward Charlie, who was facing me. His mouth was moving slowly, but his words were silent. I moved myself behind him quickly, and as I stopped moving, the world returned to normal.
