(After a week)
Hareem's POV
"Hareem, Huda! Beta, Sahar tayyar ho gayi hai to use neeche le aao lawn mein. Sab intezaar kar rahe hain." The voice of Tayi Ammi echoed through the hallway, a blend of urgency and excitement. Me and Huda were in the midst of preparing Sahar, delicately adjusting the final touches to her attire when we heard the call.

"Jee chachi, bas 2 minute, aarahe hain," Huda responded, her focus still on fixing Sahar's dupatta perfectly over her head. The soft fabric shimmered under the gentle glow of the room's lights, complementing the intricate embroidery of her outfit. Sahar's eyes sparkled with a mix of nervousness and joy, her lips curving into a shy smile.

The house was abuzz with the energy of the wedding functions that had just begun. The air was thick with the scent of fresh flowers and the sounds of laughter and chatter. Today marked the start of the festivities with the dholki, an evening filled with the rhythm of traditional drums and songs that celebrated love and union. Tomorrow would bring the solemnity of dua e khair, and after a day's rest, the mayun would follow, leading up to the grand finale—the nikkah.

"Huda, does everything look alright?" Sahar asked, her voice tinged with nerves as she glanced at herself in the mirror.

"You look beautiful, Sahar. Absolutely perfect," Huda reassured her, stepping back to admire their handiwork. "Ready to go?"

Sahar nodded, taking a deep breath. We each took one of her hands, guiding her carefully as she stood up. Together, we made our way down the hallway, the sounds of the bustling preparations growing louder with each step.

As we approached the lawn, the sight of family and friends waiting eagerly for us brought a wave of warmth and excitement. Hala, accompanied by Haya and her own cousins, joined us, completing the radiant ensemble of brides-to-be. Sahar, dressed in a vibrant orange embroidered shirt with a matching sharara, looked every bit the glowing bride. Hala, equally stunning in a plump green embroidered shirt paired with a green sharara adorned with golden laces on its border, mirrored Sahar's elegance and grace. Both brides were a vision of beauty, their outfits shimmering under the gentle illumination of the fairy lights that adorned the lawn.

"There they are!" someone exclaimed, their voice filled with joy as we emerged into view. All eyes turned to Sahar and Hala, and a round of applause and cheers erupted, enveloping the brides in a warm embrace of love and celebration.

Tayi Ammi hurried over, her face lighting up with a smile that reflected the happiness of the moment. "Look at our beautiful brides! Come, come, let's start the festivities," she called out, her voice brimming with pride.

The lawn was a sight to behold, adorned with fairy lights that twinkle like stars against the evening sky. Colorful decorations hung from every corner, creating a festive atmosphere that was both enchanting and inviting. The air was filled with the mingling scents of fresh flowers and delicious food, adding to the sensory delight of the evening.

With Dadi's cue, the dholki began, its beats resonating in the evening air, inviting everyone to join in the dance and song. The rhythmic drumming set the tone for the night, its lively tempo a call to celebration. Family members and friends quickly formed a circle, clapping to the beat and encouraging the brides to take center stage.
