Hareem's POV
Mrs. Hareem Ayaan Rauf Osmani—I turned the name over in my mind as I looked at my reflection in the mirror, the same girl staring back at me, yet everything had changed. My heart fluttered as I tried to process the weight of my new identity. The room around me, softly illuminated by the gentle glow of fairy lights, seemed to echo that transformation. The scent of peach, white, and red peonies filled the air, simple yet beautiful, just the way I always imagined, though I knew Ayaan had always been the one with a soft spot for peonies.

My phone buzzed, pulling me from my thoughts. I glanced at the screen to see a message from Haya: "Ayaan bhai will be here in five minutes, but you have to wait for some more time as we'll rob him first. And the jug of water is placed there on the nightstand, and some other essentials are also in the drawer. Best of luck!" The last sentence made me pause. Best of luck? For what? But I brushed it aside.

Feeling a dryness in my throat, I reached for the glass of water on the nightstand, savoring the cool relief as I took a sip. My eyes wandered around the room again. It was tastefully done, not overloaded with flowers like many bridal chambers I had seen. Instead, the decor was subtle, with just the right touch of elegance. Ayaan always had a knack for simplicity, for appreciating beauty in the small things.

Suddenly, the muffled sound of voices reached my ears, followed by laughter and the unmistakable sound of Abbas haggling with the girls over some ridiculous amount—40k for what, I couldn't be sure. A smile tugged at my lips. Slow down, he's still a student, guys, I thought, shaking my head at their antics.

I then moved towards the night stand to check what other 'essentials' were placed there as I remember Haya mentioning in her message. The moment I pulled open its drawer, my eyes widened in disbelief. Four packs of condoms, each in different flavors, were lined up neatly alongside a small assortment of chocolates. I blinked, trying to process what I was seeing. The shock quickly turned into embarrassment. What the hell! This was beyond anything I expected. My first thought was Haya, but no—she wouldn't, she couldn't have. She is too innocent for something like this. This had Huda's mischief written all over it.

Recovering from the initial shock, I quickly grabbed the packs and shoved them into my clutch, my cheeks burning with a mix of embarrassment and annoyance. Who does this? I made a mental note to confront Huda later, but for now, I just wanted to get rid of them as soon as possible. The chocolates, at least, I could appreciate.

After some time, I heard the soft click of the door unlocking, and my heartbeat quickened as Ayaan entered the room. He paused at the doorway, his eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that made my breath hitch. He began walking toward the bed where I was seated, his movements deliberate, his expression unreadable.

"Get up," he commanded, his voice calm but edged with authority. I blinked at him. "Can't you hear me, Hareem? I said, get up," he repeated, his tone leaving no room for hesitation. The calmness in his voice only made it more terrifying. I quickly scrambled off the bed, standing awkwardly to the side, my heart pounding in my chest.
