-4 Months Later; First person-
'It's been four months since Rengoku's passing and honestly, I can now think about our fondest memories without my eyes even watering. I've been cleared for missions that I haven't been on since the Mugen Train accident, not only that but I've been cleared for night patrol which I could've gone without.
But now that Rengoku has passed, Master has yet to fill the empty pillar spot. Senjuro, I know you have asked me to fill his spot, but- '
*KNOCK* *SPLAT*
My head flew up as the fusuma to the study of the butterfly mansion opened unexpectedly, causing me to knock over the ink onto my haori and hardwood floor.
"Shinobu is gonna kill me is this stains," I huffed as I looked down at the ink that was spreading out onto the floor.
*BONK*
My head clashed with the table as I took off my haori. I used my haori to soak up the ink that I had spilled.

"North-Northwest," My bird came flying in which made my head fly towards the fusuma that had opened.
"You scared me, Kieri...Now I have made a mess..." I hummed as my cheeks flushed with a red from embarrassment.
*FWOOSH*
"Your task is to eradicate the demon that is lurking amongst the Mountain Shrine," Kieri chirps as she lands on my shoulder, pressing her head into my cheek.
"North-Northwest," Kieri hummed as I lightly pushed her head away as she accidentally lifted my mask a bit.
"Okay...Okay, I'm going," I pinched the bridge of my nose as I grabbed my sheathed sword and placed it in my holder on my right side.
I picked up my haori and tossed it to the side. Yes, my haori was primarily black so the ink hardly showed, but in my head, it was a sign of me being sloppy and spatially unaware.
As I made my way outside, I felt a strong presence lurking at the end of the corridor. As Kieri flew away, I peeked around the corner to see Giyu leaning against a wall with his eyes closed.
"Giyu? Why are you here? There's no reason to be here since I've been discharged from the mansion," I said as his eyes slowly opened, looking at the wall in front of him.
"Then why aren't you home?" He asked as he pushed off the wall and began to walk towards me.
"I was writing the Senjuro...And now, I've just been called for a small mission," I said as Giyu stood before me with the same cold look.
"Someone forgets that they're still a Hinoto...Small mission or not, it's the rules," He said as my face dropped.
"It's gonna rain, put this on..." Giyu said as he picked up a large straw hat from behind him.

"I...So many stairs..." I, panting like a dog, all while Giyu looked behind him and tilted his head.
"You've grown out of shape," He comments as I look up and give him a snarky look.
"Thank you so much for that, makes me feel amazing," The sarcasm only made Giyu turn around and continue up to the shrine without you.
As we continued our way up to the shrine a large gust of wind hit us, I felt a sudden shooting pain in my eye, again. I hadn't felt it since my last interaction with Shinjuro.
