Confused Feelings

Chapter 6

Y/n POV

I was at Sunghoon's house waiting for Jake and Wongyoung. We decided to meet all together so we can leave together.

Mrs. Park: oh Y/n you don't have to help! I can do it myself

Y/n: oh no it's okay. I'm happy to help out

Mrs.Park; you should wait for your date

Y/n: it's no big deal, I promise

Mrs.Park: so how's your father? Has he been well?

Y/n: oh yeah. He's been very busy though.

Mrs.Park; I'm so glad that you guys are doing alright

We heard a knock on the door. Sunghoon goes open it. It's Wongyoung and Jake.

Sunghoon: hey guys, we are just finishing up.

Mrs.park: I can finish the rest y/n. Go have fun

Y/n: let me help real quick-

Sunghoon grabs my hand and drags me out

Sunghoon: your gonna be the reason we are late

We decided to go to the movies.

MOVIES

When we arrive, Sunghoon and Wongyoung went straight to the food stands. Jake grabs my hand and I looked up at him.

Jake: did you want something?

Y/n: hm.. popcorn?

Jake: butter and salt?

Y/n: yes please.

Jake went to go get us popcorn and then we all head into the movies. While watching the movie, I glance at Sunghoon and Wongyoung at times. I see them hold hands. Sunghoon had his arm wrapped around her. Then jake wrapped his arm around me. I was shocked at first but I accepted it. I know we are in a relationship but it didn't feel right. I still felt this jealousy.

When the movie ended we decided to go walk around. Sunghoon and Wongyoung were a bit ahead of us.

Jake: hey be honest. Does it bother you that Sunghoon and Wongyoung are together?

Y/n: what are you talking about ?

Jake: hey guys, we are going to go off on our own

Sunghoon: huh?-

Wongyoung: alright! Be safe

Jake grabs my hand and were walking for a while until he stopped. His back was facing me

Jake: don't lie to me. I could sense it Y/n. I've notice the way you looked at him... you don't look at me the same.

Y/n: Jake, that's not true-

Jake: stopped with all the lies! Just stop.

It went silence for a while

Y/n: it's true... I do have feelings for Sunghoon. But I did try to forget these feelings for him. I promise. I really wanted to like you. I really wanted this to work. Your so sweet and kind but-

Jake: but I'm not him.

He turns around

Y/n: I'm sorry

Jake: don't be okay

He came and hug me

Y/n: you should be angry with me. I lead you on.

Jake: I just want you to be honest with yourself. We should stop this relationship and just be friends.

Y/n: I'm sorry for messing with your feelings.

Jake: it's alright, I suspected it from the beginning.

We pulled away

Y/n: you are really a great guy Jake. You deserve somebody better than me

Jake: it was great while it lasted.

Y/n: let's become great friends

I pulled my hands out and he did too. We shook on it.

Jake: I'll walk you home.

Y/n: alright
