Confused Feelings

Chapter 2

I was sitting in class waiting until school ended. I was looking out the window thing about what happened. Sunghoon came out of nowhere. How did he find us.... Was he really worried?

???: hello? Earth to Y/n???

Y/n: huh? Oh! I'm sorry did you say something

Eunchae: class ended a couple seconds ago, I thought you died. You have something on your mind?

Y/n: something happened yesterday

Eunchae: what happen?

Y/n: Jake asked me out

Eunchae: the transfer student ?

Y/n: yea

Eunchae: what did you say

Y/n: I didn't get to give an answer because Sunghoon interrupted

Eunchae: well you have to give an answer. You can't just leave him without an answer

Y/n: I don't know

Eunchae; it's time to move on. Give him a chance. Sunghoon is not going to look at you when he has a girlfriend

Y/n: your right

She smiled happily

Eunchae: it's about time you get yourself a boyfriend. And Jake, he's cute

Y/n: he is pretty good looking

Eunchae; I won't be surprised if he popular with the ladies. Better snatch him up before someone else do

Y/n: I'll go do it when lunch starts

When lunch started, I head towards Jake's class. I peep my head in the classroom, looking around for Jake. I see him at the window reading a book. I walk in and head towards Jake. I tap him on the shoulder and he turns around

Jake: oh! Hey

Y/n: hey. I'm sorry for Sunghoon, he's overly protective and acts like he's my father. Which is annoying

Jake: it's fine. I understand

Y/n: about your question.

I started to play with my hands nervously.

Y/n: I would like to go on the date.

He smiles

Jake: I'll pick you up tomorrow. Oh I was wondering, if I can walk you home

Y/n: I would like that.

I gave him a goodbye and headed by to my class.

When school ended, I was waiting outside. Wongyoung came outside.

Wongyoung: oh! Y/n! Hey

Y/n: hi

Wongyoung: who are you waiting for

Y/n: I'm waiting for Jake.

Wongyoung; ouuu, you guys are a thing?

Y/n: haha, we just started. But you can say we are

Wongyoung; I'm so happy for you.

Y/n: I appreciate it

Y/n: who are you waiting for?

Wongyoung; I'm waiting for Sunghoon. But he's taking a while.

Y/n: I wouldn't count on him to be on time

Wongyoung: haha yeah

Then suddenly Jake appears

Jake: let's head out

Y/n: ah! Alright. Bye Wongyoung, it was nice talking to you.

We said our goodbyes

Sunghoon pov

Sunghoon: ready?

Wongyoung: took you long enough

Sunghoon: sorry, the meeting lasted longer than I expected.

Wongyoung, can you believe it! Y/n and Jake are a thing now. It's so sweet. They make such a cute couple

Sunghoon; since when did they start to get close

Wongyoung; I dont know how it happened but it's sweet that she found someone

Sunghoon: I suppose..

End of Sunghoon pov

We were walking when Jake said something that surprises me

Jake: does Sunghoon like you?

Y/n: Sunghoon!? Oh no! No way! We've been friends since childhood but he would never catch feelings for me. I'm not his type. Why do you ask?

Jake: just a feeling, it seems like he has feelings for you

Y/n: like I said before, he is just over protective. But everything will be fine between us tho.

He smiles. We made it to my house.

Jake: this is where we separate.

Y/n: thank you for walking me home

Jake: I'll see you tomorrow

He leaves. Then I head inside. I walk inside my room and I see sunghoon on my bed reading something on his phone

Y/n: what are you doing here?

Sunghoon; you took your precious time.

Y/n: I was walking with Jake

Sunghoon; it's not appropriate for a young lady walking with a guy she barely knows by herself

I threw my bag on the ground.

Y/n: you don't know nothing about him! He's a sweet person Sunghoon! And stop acting like you're my dad! Why are you acting like this! I finally found a guy I like but you keep ruining it. Why can't you support me like I support you and Wongyoung

Sunghoon: it's because-

He paused

Y/n: because?!

Sunghoon: I just dont like that guy! He gives me weird vibes!

Y/n: you dont even know him...

I started to cry. Sunghoon looked at me with a shock expression

Sunghoon; y-y/n! I didn't mean to-

Y/n: why do you keep treating me horribly. What did I do to you. Why do you get so mad

He did something that surprises me. He pulled me into a hug

Sunghoon: I'm sorry. I just care for you Y/n. I dont want you to get hurt. Ever since your mom passed, you've been lonely since your dad is barely home.

His scent, his warmth, his soft voice. My heart is beating faster than ever. I can't.

I pushed him away.

Y/n: HAHAH! DON'T worry showing me!! I'm fine. Oh look at the time! Your mom is gonna get worried. I should go to bed!

Sunghoon; but-

I pushed him out the door.

Y/n: good night.

I slammed the door. My face is bright red. I put my hand on my chest

Y/n: what the heck! I'm in big trouble.

I couldn't get a good sleep that night.
