"Are you kidding me, Maria?" I hear Natasha say as I walk into the tower one day obviously arguing again. They've been having problems recently which was obvious to everyone who was near them often enough. Natasha got scared of thier relationship a while back and left and now she came back and the two have been trying to repair the relationship since. She came back two months ago and they won't stop.

And they aren't the only ones struggling. The stress of being an Avenger and being an actual teenager trying to keep your identity and hydra past a secret is stressful. I don't know how Peter does the spiderman thing. I'm trying to balance it all but it's hard. Usually Nat and Maria help but they are focused on their relationship and I don't want to bother them or stress them more.

I decide to make plans with a friend in hopes to lift my spirits and get out of this house. I text Haley and we decide to have a sleepover at her house the next day. In the meantime I cut a few lines on my thigh to calm down and destress then get in a shower watching the blood mix with the water and disappear down the drain.

Afterwards I go downstairs where Nat and Maria were watching a movie together peacefully so I decide to join them.

"Hey kid how was your day?" Maria asks both of their attention on me.

"It was fine I have a sleepover at Haleys tomorrow." I tell them.

"That's nice." Nat says and I agree. We all watch the movie together till I notice them whispering to each other angerly.

"Y/n?" Nat looks up at me. "You've forgiven me by now right? I came back. And I have apologized about a million times." She points out.

"I am not getting involved do not involve me." I say mad and go back to my room rolling my eyes. I'm so annoyed I just want them to stop. I want things to go back the way they were before it happened.

The next day I'm getting ready when we get called on a mission. I have to cancel on Haley which had been happening a lot lately making me feel bad for lying about why. I wish I could just tell her who I was and it would make everything so much easier but if someone found out she could be in danger which would be so much worse. She asks why but I just tell her something came up and she leaves me on read.

The next day when I see her she gives me a dirty look. "Everything ok?" I ask.

"If you don't wanna be friends just say so." She scoffs.

"What are you talking about? Of course I wanna be your friend." I say.

"Oh really? Cause everytime we make plans you end up cancelling last minute." She says mad. "Then you make up some stupid excuse as to why you can't and never end up telling the truth."

"I know it sounds bad but-" I say.

"No ok no buts. What did you actually have to do yesterday?" She says crossing her arms.
