Rowan's career is slipping and she is becoming less and less popular by the minute. Sabrina's career is going amazing, she has a boyfriend, a new album coming out, and she is getting more popular by the minute. Can Rowan save her career and not fall...
I threw the doors open to Julia's office with a whoosh. I was very out of breath because her office was at the end of the crazy long hallway.
"Ah, there you are Rowan." Julia said with a flash of annoyance on her face. "You're about 25 minutes late."
"I prefer to call it 'fashionably late', if you will." She got a snicker for that from Brian, who was sitting on the couch. Brian was Julia's brother who she was in business with.
"You're still late. But, at this point I don't even care. As you know this meeting is very important to your career. You might want to sit for this."
I slowly sat down on one of the armchairs in Julia's amazingly modern office. "Yes, I know it's important, but why? I know that I haven't gotten many jobs in a while, but I promise I can soon!" Julia gave me an apologetic smile and said, "Rowan, we looked it over and you are losing money. You need to do something to make some money, and we have the best three options here for you."
"Okay... what are they?" I was getting kind of scared at this point. Julia opened her mouth to say something, but she was quickly interrupted by Brian.
"Look Rowan, as we told you there are three options. Two of these options are basically sending you skating on thin ice. The last one is more reliable, except you might not like it."
"Ugh, will you guys just tell me what the options are please?" Now I was the annoyed one.
"Okay well the first option would be doing a show with Disney again, except the show is expected to be pretty bad."
"Alright, I don't think I want to do that at all. What's the next option?"
"The next option," Brian said "Would be starting a PR relationship with someone. The only problem is we don't know who with, and PR relationships can get messy."
"Yeah, no way. I don't really like any of the options so far. Please tell me the last ones good."
"The thing is, we don't know if you'll like the last one. It is the best option, although you might see it as the worst." "Alright, now I'm getting scared. Just tell me what it is."
"Well... you would go to the Disney channel reunion with the rest of the Girl Meets World cast, and you try and convince the producers to do a reunion episode of the show. You would also have to convince everyone else to do it."
"Alright that doesn't sound too bad. Why would you guys think that I would hate that option?"
"Well you have to remember you would have to see all your old co-stars... like Peyton Meyer. And Sabrina Carpenter. You told us you wanted to put that part of your life behind you after you left. We know about the crush you had or have on Sabrina. And we know about how you and Peyton were fighting the last time you spoke To him."
How did they know about my crush? Godamnit. "Yeah, I would have to see Peyton, but that wouldn't be the end of the world if I also get my career back into my own control."
"Alright, so the reunion it is!" Julia said with a grin. "And, just so you know, I always shipped you and Sabrina. I personally think she really missed her chance with you on that show.
I rolled my eyes and blushed a tiny bit. "So, when is the reunion exactly and where is it?"
"It's luckily right here in LA, so you don't have to travel, and it's on the 30th of July. There might be people bringing dates, is there anyone you want to bring?" Brian asks. I swear, he cares more about my personal life than my career.
"No, I'm not dating anyone if that's what you're asking." He makes a face at that.
"Anyway, I have to go pick out a dress for this thing, and then we have to come up with a plan to talk to Michael about a reunion episode." "Alright, meet back here at three and I'll talk to Michael in the meantime."
"Thanks!" I said as I walked out the door. I was starving since I didn't really have any breakfast this morning. I guess I'll go out to lunch today.
--Time Skip--
As I was walking out of the restaurant, I met a fan. We took a picture and I complimented her on her cute dog. I started driving to the mall, because I was sure that there would be a dress shop there. As I was pulling into the parking lot, I started thinking about one of the other options. Starting a PR relationship with someone would get me a lot of press. It would be a good idea if there was anyone I would do it with. I don't actually personally know that many celebs.
I walked around for a bit before I found a nice shop called Orchid and swans. I stepped inside and it was so nice, I felt like I stepped into a wonderland. There were bistro lights and the walls were crisp white with dresses hanging on racks. I eventually chose a dress that was dark blue and really pretty. As I was paying I noticed a man in the shop. It was kind of weird to see a man in a dress shop, I thought to myself as he turned around. "Oh my gosh!" I said as I saw his face. He looked up from the dress he was looking at and saw me. It was none other than Shawn Mendes! "Hi!" I said as he grinned at me. "Hey!" he said at almost the same time. We had met a few times before and really hit it off at a gala one time. We texted sometimes but rarely saw each other outside of events. "What are you doing buying a dress? Aren't you a little big for that one?" I said in a joking tone. He laughed and said "I'm actually getting this for my sister. She is going to some sort of party and needs a dress. She's at work so I'm getting it for her." "Oh, that's really nice of you!" I said grabbing my now paid for dress. "Well, hopefully we'll get to see each other soon. I really wish I could talk, but I have to get to my agent's office right now."
He looked kinda nervous all of a sudden. "Hey, wait before you go... I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me sometime?" WHAT! I did not see that coming at all.
"U-um I... I would really like that actually." I did think he was cute, and he was so kind and sweet.
"Oh really!" He sounded surprised, like he thought I would say no. "How about on Saturday? I could take you out to this really nice place for dinner. It's by the ocean and it's so nice at sunset."
"Oh, sure I would love that! It sounds really nice." I said. I couldn't believe this was happening.
"Great. I'll pick you up at eight?" He now looked very happy instead of nervous.
"Okay yeah. I'll text you my address. I really have to go but I'll see you Saturday! Bye!" I said running to my car. I heard a faint "Bye!" behind me, but I didn't really acknowledge it.
The second I go to my car I texted my friend Liam.
