Reunion?

Hey y'all! I just realized that like someone reading this book is from the Netherlands and I was like omg that's totally crazy. Anyway sry I had writers block so I didnt update but I am now. Hope y'all like it! 🩷

We had spent about 30 minutes just talking and catching up, since we hadn't talked to each other for a while. We had also found a corner with a sofa, table and a bunch of chairs so that we could all sit. 

Everyone was laughing and someone's hand grabbing my shoulder snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Hey! We didn't really get a chance to talk one on one yet, so here I am!" It was Rowan, all cheery and smiley like usual.

"Sure Row!" I said, trying to match her excitement. "How's life treating you?"

She grinned again and said "Great! How about you, your career's going pretty good I see."

That made me grin, "So you've been keeping tabs on my career? That's sweet."

She blushes and said, "haha, yeah, I'm ultra stalking you on Instagram! But also, I mean, you're just so famous now! I always hear your songs on the radio!"

That makes me blush

"Oh yeah? You like 'em?"

She smiles and says "Hell yes! You're so talented! Text me when your next show in LA is, because I'm coming!"

We talk for a bit before they make an announcement on the speakers and we all go quiet.

"Hello Disney Stars!" Yells a voice over the speakers "Having fun tonight?"

Everyone cheers and I laugh as they try to quiet us down.

I want you all to get on that dance floor right now, because we're about to play some of the biggest Disney hits, that you all know and love!"

We all run onto the dance floor and start dancing to songs like 'Friend like me' and 'Under the sea.' Rowan is dancing with Shawn, Corey is dancing with Charlie, and everyone else is dancing with their dates. 

I see Shawn pull Rowan in for a kiss, and that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. "Ugh, can't even stay with her." I mutter under my breath as he walks away to go talk to some people he apparently knows.

Rowan jumps on my shoulders, bringing me out of the trance I was in. "Hey!" I yell over the music and she grabs my hands.

"Wanna dance?" She says and I nod, smiling. 

Just as we start to dance, the song ends and another one starts playing. It's a slow song, 'beauty and the beast.' 

I look at her questioning whether or not she still wants to dance. In response she pulls me close to her and snakes her arms around my waist.

I blush and wrap my arms around her neck looking down. We slowly dance and close to the end, I make the stupid decision to look up.

My eyes meet hers and neither of us can look away. I've been staring into those chocolate brown eyes for so long, I don't realize the song's ending.  We look away and take a few steps back.

"Heh, that was fun." She says, still blushing. "But, um, I have to go find Shawn. I'll see you later!"

"Okay!" I yell back as she runs away to find her boyfriend.

-Time Skip-

I did not in fact, see her later.

We both had left the party, as it had gotten extremely late, and neither of us said goodbye to the other. I felt bad about it, but I was still annoyed about what happened. 

I shouldn't have let myself get that close to her, I could've told her and ruined my life!

"Stupid, stupid, stupid." I muttered to myself as I was driving home.

Now, in the morning, I woke up to about a million texts from Rowan. She kept saying that she told everyone last night, but she forgot to tell me. She... WAIT WHAT!  She wants to do a girl meets world reboot, just for fun, and everyone said yes! Now all I had to do was say yes.

I called her and she picked up on the first ring. 

"Sabrina! Did you see all my texts?"

"Um, how could I miss them? Anyway I just wanted to say that I would love to do a girl meets world reboot! It would be fun to make like a little episode where we're all older and stuff!"

I could practically hear her grinning on the other end, and she said "Oh, thank god! I can't wait! Anyway I'll talk to you later okay?"

I was a little disappointed the conversation was ending so soon, but I said "Yeah, have a good day! Byeee!"

We both hung up and I started to get ready for the day, excited about the news I had just received.

Or maybe I was just excited about seeing Rowan. 

Again.
