-Sabrina-

I was driving in my car to the an amusement park, to meet the cast of gmw. We were all meeting up before filming because we wanted to casually hang out not during shoots. I was going to pick up Rowan first, though, because we decided we wanted to carpool together. We had honestly grown closer since the party, and now we texted a lot.

Although, in the past few days she had started to become a little more distant, and cold. She would answer in fewer words, and left quicker. Whatever was going on I was gonna get to the bottom of it. Because she's my friend... even If I want more. I know nothing will ever happen, but I'll still always want her to be happy.

I pull up at her house and text her that I'm here. She opens the door and runs to the car with a big smile on her face, making me grin. I blush a bit at the sight of her in a crop top and low rise jeans, feeling a bit underdressed in my casual t shirt and sweatpants. She opens the door and sits in the passenger seat, smiling.

"Morning!" she says as she looks over at me, looking me up and down. I blush slightly at her looking at me like that and smile back. "Mornin. You excited?"

She grins and nods, as I turn back to the road. I try not to make eye contact as not to blush deeply as we talk about life, and everything in general.

About halfway there I spring the question on her. "Hey Row?"

she turns over to me but I keep my eyes trained on the road. "Hm? yes?"

I take a breath and steady myself, not wanting to annoy her. "Um... I've realized lately that you've been a little more... um... distant, I guess would be a word for it. Is everything okay?"

She looks down at her lap as we stop at a red light, and I think I've messed up.

"Sorry... I just... well some shit has happened this last week and I've been kinda preoccupied."

"No, don't apologize! I'm sorry, I thought maybe you thought I was annoying or something."

She chuckles "I would never think that."

I smile and bite my lip "Could I ask what is going on then?"

She looks down again and mumbles something I cant hear.

"What? I can't hear you Row."

"Me and Shawn... we broke up."

I suck in a breath and my eyes widen. "Wait, really? Do you... do you mind if I ask?"

She nods and I start with the questions.

"When?"

"Monday."

"Why?"

"He was... he wasn't a very good person."

I sigh and reach my hand over, holding hers. She seems to tense a bit when I do that, and I'm about to pull away when she relaxes. I rub my thumb along her knuckles as we arrive, silently showing my remorse.

I park and we get out of the car, walking to the entrance. I can hear the screams and happy laughter as I see countless roller coasters, games, and other rides. We find our group and we all set off on the rides.

-Time Skip to sunset-

We had been out here all day, and I had the time of my life. The park would be closing in an hour, and we were all gonna go to dinner afterwards. I realized the sun was starting to set and looked at it setting over the river and the city, wishing I had a better view.
