staff pool party

summary: autumn and winter got to the staff pool party

word count: 754 words

since there had been a lot of new hires and it was 27 degrees outside marjorie had decided to have a pool party at her house. as reece had a pool in his back garden with a patio. autumn was wearing a long sleeved black one piece swimming suit and winter had some black shorts on. as he saw autumn doing her makeup and hair he looked at her and she gave him a small smile.

as she finished up and walked downstairs with winter and into the car. while winter was driving he noticed her leg bobbing up and down. he gently went and placed his hand on her thigh.

"talk to me. what's on your mind?" winter said with a concerned look on his face.

autumn then told him about how she was worried as she hadn't swam since when her father drowned her and she was still petrified since and how she was insecure about her legs and how she didn't like the freckles and scars on her legs.

"my love you have such beautiful legs and you know I will not let anything happen to you."

by the time he finished his conversation they were already there. as autumn came out with a towel wrapped around her waist to cover her legs she walked in to see marjorie

"oh autumn and winter! I'm so glad you two could make it! autumn you look amazing!"

"thank you marjorie."

winter whispered something into autumns ear before they headed into the back garden to see clodagh and sorscha and drinking some appetiser and reece diving in the pool while carly swam with charlotte, jodie and eric doing gardening together and mia lying on a sunbed.

when they got there everyone greeted them and winter went to join reece in the pool and autumn went to sit on a sunbed and watched everyone around her. she even talked to mia for a bit.

eventually clodagh and sorscha decided to go into the pool and so did mia . jodie and eric also had plucked out all the weeds so they got in the pool aswell.  it was eventually just autumn who wasn't in the pool. as autumn was in her own world reading her favourite book.

she then heard carly shout

"autumn come innnn!!"

everyone then suddenly started to tell autumn to come in after she refused lots of times winter eventually managed to convince her love to at least try as she walked over to the shallow end and took her towel off her leg she felt butterflies in her stomach she held the rail and slowly walked in the pool. as she zoned out she felt someone hold onto her waist which made her flinch

"my love its me. I've got you don't worry."

as autumn got more comfortable with everyone was in the deep end apart from winter and autumn as they slowly got to the deep end she gripped onto the pool wall, as she slowly got more comfortable she was talking to marjorie when she felt something grab her feet underwater and pull her towards the middle. she started to panic she tried to shout but she couldn't as her head was being dragged underwater. sadly everyone else went to the shallow end while autumn was talking to marjorie and marjorie wasn't the greta of a n swimmer either. she felt like she was suffocating as she heard muffled voiced in the background. then she blacked out.

she woke up to everyone surrounding her as winter pulled her in for a hug as she coughed out water from her mouth.

"im okay don't worry my sweet." she said as she looked around to see reece with teary eyes.

"aut I thought you knew how to swim.." he said

"I haven't swam since what happened with father." she said while looking down and feeling embarrassed.

carly suddenly came over

"i am so sorry autumn! me and eric did a dare that whoever lost had to pull someone underwater. I though you were marjorie. please don't kill me!!" carly said with terror in her eyes.

she coughed more water out a let out a sigh

"carly its okay. these things happen im not going to kill you." autumn said while letting out a small laugh

"didn't know you had a soft side aut" reece said with a laugh followed by autumn glaring at him

"or not hahah.." reece said while helping her up and paying her some water.

after about 30 minutes they ended the night and went home.
