as her and winter were on the sofa together autumn got an call, she looked over at her phone. it was from reece. that was odd. autumn picked up her phone and answered.

"yes big brother?"

"autumn mia wanted to meet an restaurant to patch things up with me and wanted to see if you would come since your relationship is really.... tense to say the least."

what he said was true. her and mia's relationship had gone down since prom night. it wasn't always like that though. before everything happened mia and autumn had a really good relationship when they were younger. they were practically like sisters. autumn told mia everything. her first crush, first period anything. mia was like autumns big sister, her mother she never had. since her mother left when she was young she always looked up to mia and wanted to be like her, that's why she started doing makeup, skincare, dressing more grown up. just to be like mia. she would have never guessed that she would have fallen out with her two closest people in the world and never speak to them for 20 years.

reece and mia were alright with each other now. to be fair it wasn't them that suffered the consequences of prom night. yes they both lost each other that night and reece felt so horrible afterwards, they both knew how much more autumn had suffered. to this day she still hadn't fully recovered from it all.

after a long silence autumn replied "text me the details ill be there." autumn said before hanging up. she didn't know why she agreed to it. but it would be nice to make up with mia.

"my sweet!" autumn shouted from the top of the stairs. as she fastened an necklace onto her neck and put some earrings in. she had her hair in her usual half up half down hairstyle with curls, and had some heels and wore some black cargo trousers and a burgundy red satin shirt.

"yes my love? are you ready now?" winter said as he came upstairs to see his wife in the mirror.

"you look." there wasn't a word to describe how beautiful she looked. "so ravishing." winter said as she looked over and gave him a small smile.

as winter was driving in the car he could feel the tension in the car. he looked over to see autumn looking down nervously fiddling with her nails and hands. he could tell she was nervous. he couldn't blame her. going to meet up with someone you fell out with and hadn't spoken to for 20 years was quite an big deal, even though she tried not to show it he could see right through her, he instinctively reached his hand and went to hold her hand while using the over to steer the car.

"your going to be fine my sweet. just message me when your done to pick you up and ill be here as fast as i can." he said as he parked up.

"thanks. im just nervous." she mumbled.

he went out and opened the door for her. "have an great time my love." he said as he kissed her on her forehead.

as she walked in she saw reece and mia sitting down already, they seemed to be chatting, she missed seeing them and was glad to have them back in her life. truthfully she did envy mia just the slightest. ever since they were kids roger had always compared autumn to mia, saying how mia is so much prettier than her, mia would usually defend autumn but it just, she couldn't describe it.

even with all the makeup products and hair products with the nicest outfits her father was never satisfied.

after prom night mia stopped defending autumn and even agreed with roger and would even sneakily make comments about autumn, which was why she hated school, mostly everyone had found out about prom night and since at the time mia and reece were known as the "perfect couple" everyone sided with them and would even would tease autumn at school. she would just look down holding back the tears in her eyes and try to ignore the comments, she always wondered why they didn't do anything but she just saw them as pure evil after. she took a deep breath in.

she walked over to them.

"big brother, mia." she said as she sat down.

"little sis. didn't think you'd show up." reece said as mia replied "heyy autumn, didn't think you'd show up either, how are you?" mia said with an smile. she really wanted to make up with autumn. she knew how much she had hurt autumn on prom night and after with all the snarky comments she made about her.

"okay. you?" autumn said looking down at the table.
"good thanks. look autumn i heard about what happened. im so sorry. did you receive the flowers?" mia said to which autumn replied. "thank you, and yes i received the flowers. thank you for that they were lovely." autumn said. reece gave a smile at mia to say "your doing good.

after an while they were back to talking again, they talked it all out but there was still some tension in the air, after an while the tension subsided an after reece making lots of jokes they talked like nothing happened.

they decided to call it a night, mia decided to ask autumn the question she has been waiting to ask this entire night.

"so.. are we good again?" she said while holding out her little pinky, it was a little tradition.

autumn took her finger out and wrapped her pinky around mias. giving be a small smile before walking out to her car.

things between the three seemed better now. not 100% fully healed but definitely 80%.
