this one is a bit random but i thought it would be cute for autumn to comfort winter.

winter had always been told he was "to girly" or that his job was an "woman's job." yes he wasn't the most manly person ever and had an higher voice than most men. which really annoyed him as he can't control his voice. and what really annoyed him was when parents would hit on autumn as if he wasn't dating her. the thing he was scared of the most was if autumn left him for an more "manly" or "more attractive" man.

so naturally when an parent hit on autumn for the 4th time this week he was pretty annoyed.

yes he loved autumn dearly and could understand why people always hit on her as she was gorgeous. infact the most beautiful person in this world in his eyes. but it made him feel very self conscious of his high pitched voice, and his looks. and especially his height. he hated it! everyone called him the shortking ever since reece started it and yes he didn't mind sometimes the jokes about his height did affect him. he just didn't want to take the jokes to heart. especially since he knew everyone didn't mean it in a bad way. i mean his dad was 5,7 and his mum was 5,4 so he kind of was in between at 5,5 while reece was at a staggering 6,3 and autumn was 5,7 so they must've had pretty tall genes in their family.

so when autumn was getting hit on by another parent once again it really set winter on his nerves. especially since this parent made a snarky comment along the lines of "look at you! how can you be dating her!" which autumn jumped to winters defence but for some reason he still felt annoyed after.

"let's go home my sweet." autumn said as they started walking to her car.

as they arrived home autumn put the keys down and her and winter went to get changed. once they got changed autumn sat on the sofa to which winter sat on the other sofa and curled up into a ball. normally winter would sit next to autumn so the the fact that he was avoiding her made her have an feeling that something was wrong.

she kind of had an feeling what has happened as she saw winters face when the parent was hitting on him, and he hadn't really spoken to her since.

autumn approached him and sat next to him and scooped him up into an hug to which he wrapped his arms around her in response.

"winter i don't like that parent. he's not my type at all. ive only got eyes for you." she said making winter slightly blush. they could read each other like an book.

"im sorry my love i didn't mean to ignore you it's just  frustrating how people are always say how beautiful you are and why you chose me." he said as he felt an few tears fall down his cheek.

"your very very beautiful but it hurts sometimes. i feel like im not good enough for you." he said to which autumn just listened. she didn't interrupt. just sat there with him, rubbing his back, scratching his scalp and letting him pour his heart out.

when he had calmed down for a bit autumn finally spoke.

"if it helps i think you are the most handsome man in the world." she said which made him look up, she gave him a small smirk.

after a while of kisses and cuddles autumn looked winter in the eye to make sure he knew she was being serious. she used her thumb to wipe the few tears on his face before saying.

"i love the way you crack jokes to people and light up the room with your cheerful personality. you don't need to be and more masculine or manly. your perfect the way you are." she said to which winter looked and her ashamed with his red puffy eyes.

he just kissed her.

there was no words needed for this interaction. that kiss was enough to show how much he appreciated
her kind words and gestures.

after an long silence autumn got up and said "ill make some dinner my sweet." she said with an smile on her face.

as the plates of pasta came out winter sat on the table and poured them each a glass of wine.

as they ate their food they talked about how their days went. as much as he tried to avoid anything negative it kind of just came out.

after they finished they went for a quick shower before tucking into their bed together.

as winter cuddled towards autumn  he heard an faint sound. he could hear autumn slightly breathing as she slept soundly. he gave her a quick kiss before turning off turning of the lights.

"goodnight autumn."
