winter and autumn walked into the nursery. the day started for them as usual. they would walk in to the nursery and sit in autumns office together while drinking their starbucks in the office and chat together. they would usually get the same  thing. winter would get americano while autumn would get a latte or a iced mocha. but during the colder seasons, her and winter would both get an hot chocolate.

winter and autumn chatted for an while as they would like to come in early as winter was usually on the early shift and autumn didn't want him to be alone.

they were and very private couple. but everyone knew how much they loved each other with their small gestures, such as holding hands when they thought know one was looking, giving each other a kiss. but what showed their love the most was how they always called each other cute names such as "my love" or "my sweet".

they walked out the office together 'to chuck their drinks in the bin. as they walked back together marjorie rushed passed winter towards the bathroom. "sorry winter!!" she said as she ran passed the corridor.

winter fell down onto the floor, onto his ankle an loud pop coming from his ankle.

autumn turned around as she heard the pop.
"my sweet!" she said as she bent down onto the floor. "are you okay?" she said as her cold demeanour dropped completely. she didn't care if anyone was watching. she just wanted to make sure winter was okay.

"yes my love im okay just a sprain." he said feeling an bit embarrassed.
"come let's sort you out." she said with an smile on her face.

as he stood up autumn put her hand on his shoulder. as he stood up his leg popped again causing him to fall, autumn quickly caught him.

"you seem just fine my love." she said with an sarcastic tone.
even though he was pretending to be alright she could see right through him and hated seeing him in pain.

she put her hand under his arm supporting his every move. as they got to the staff room she sat him down getting him some ice for his leg. she got some bandages and wrapped it around his swollen leg as she kissed it better. "it should take about maybe an couple weeks to fully heal." she said as she gave him a kiss.

she helped him to rest his leg and told him she would meet him for his lunch break to see how he was doing.

as autumn was typing away in her office charlotte came running into their office. "marjorie, autumn! winters fallen over again. i think he needs to go home."

"where is he?" autumn said as her and marjorie stood up.

"come! he's in the toddler room with carly!"

as autumn and marjorie walked in everyone backed away so autumn could get to him. she knelt down next to him. he had some tears on his cheek and an grimaced look on his face. she asked him with an worried look on her face

"what happened?" she said as she took of his shoe. which revealed his swollen foot.

"i tripped over that toy car." winter mumbled as he groaned in pain. autumn hated seeing him like this. you could see how worried autumn was. considering no one had seen autumn show emotions other than a small smile they were all quite shocked how worried autumn was.

"marjorie can someone cover our shifts?" she said turning round to marjorie.

"um ye- yeah yeah im sure i can work something out." autumn gave marjorie a quick nod before turning to winter.

"can you walk?" she said to which winter nodded. as he stood his leg gave way. he collapsed in front of autumn who caught him. she helped him stand before saying "if you couldn't walk you should've just said it my sweet." she said with a slight chuckle as she picked him up in his arms causing winter to let out a small gasp. he stared at the woman in awe as she held him in his arms with ease as she walked out towards her car.

she sat winter down making sure he was comfortable before getting into the drivers seat.

as they drove home autumn drove with one hand on the wheel and the other holding his. she could tell his ankle was in a lot of pain.

as they got home autumn carried winter upstairs to their bedroom before getting some ice and wrapping and bandage on his leg which the swelling was getting better.

"get some sleep my sweet." she said with a warm smile.

"thank you my love." he said as he groaned, trying to get comfortable.

thankfully with autumns support his ankle would heal faster. and hopefully quickly. autumn got ready for bed and lied down next to him. she watched as he breathed with an content look on his face. she reached out and moved the few strands of hair that were in his face. god she loved him.

as she stared she felt her eyes close. she turned off the lamps next to her and lied down on her husbands chest as she fell asleep next to the man she loved.
