Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce (Tayvis) One-Shots

12.1: everything has changed.

travis had just finished a tough game and his team decided to go out for dinner to celebrate. after his meal travis was heading back to his car when something caught his eye. a tiny kitten, barely bigger than his hand, was meowing softly by the curb. his heart melted instantly.

without a second thought, he gently picked up the kitten, cradling it like a baby. "i can't leave you out here," he whispered to the little kitten. knowing how much his girlfriend adored cats he figured this would be a perfect surprise for her.

he placed the kitten on the passenger seat and drove home, glancing over occasionally to make sure it was okay. when he arrived, he walked inside with the kitten hidden behind his back. "tay, baby, i've got a surprise for you," he said with a grin.

taylor's eyes lit up when she saw the kitten. "oh my gosh, trav! where did you find this little one?" she exclaimed, taking the kitten into her arms.

"on my way to the car. i couldn't just leave it there," he explained.

taylor was overjoyed. "let's give it a bath," she suggested, and travis followed her to the bathroom. they carefully washed the kitten, while taylor checks for the gender.

"girl!" taylor says excitedly, while continuing to wash the kitten.

"let's call her marjorie." taylor smiles and looks at travis

"marjorie it is!" travis kisses taylor's head and pets the kitten

"welcome to the family marjorie."

as they dried off the kitten, taylor looked at travis with a soft smile. "this is the best surprise ever. thank you!" she said, giving him a kiss.

over the next few days, marjorie quickly adapted to her new home. she explored every nook and cranny of the house, her tiny paws making soft padding sounds on the hardwood floors. taylor and travis made sure she had everything she needed a cozy bed, plenty of toys, and of course, lots of love and attention.
