The rest of the day was a blur once Korbin walked over to me. I wouldn't let him touch her at first. I screamed for everyone to go away because this couldn't be happening. I just got her back in my life after losing everyone and I won't lose her again.

(As Skyler began to cry out again the clouds started to swirl in a dance of black and grey before the lightening hurled through the skies)

"I need you to breathe and calm down Sky."

I felt Korbin rest his hand on my back, but he kept his distance.

"Korb!"

"Ro, hush."

"But we don't have time for this. We need to move them both now!"

"Go outside until I call for someone to come and take her back to the Lighthouse."

"But.."

"Now!(growling)"

"Yes Sir."

I heard her feet with another's exit the room stepping over debris but I never looked up at her. I didn't even know her and she wanted me to what, just leave my aunt here.

No, no, no...

Korbin's hand returned to my back as he came to one knee beside me.

"I know this is hard and you might not understand all of what is going on but I know you know we can not bring her back. There is nothing more we can do but take her back to the Lighthouse to be placed with the other Keepers. You are not safe here and she would want you to be safe."

"I feel like I failed her..."

"YOU DID NOT, and we both know that." Reaching for his earpiece. "Send in a transport team then call 'Brownie Brooms for a cleanup crew right now."

"Can I stay till they come and take her?"

"Of course, you can Little Storm, but I need you to try and calm yourself. Look out the window, you are doing that which is making our jobs a little harder."

I looked up out the window and I know when I got here it was morning but the sky outside was almost black until the lightening hit. I don't understand what he meant by that is me. How could I be doing anything just because I'm upset? If it was me I needed to at least try what he was telling me to do. I tried by taking a deep breath first and that seemed to help some. Looking back out the window the storm had calmed some, so I kept breathing remembering happy moments in my life. Instead of the destroyed gym I was sitting in the middle of with my aunt in my arms lifeless.

"(a whisper) Skyler..."

My head shot up but there was no one around me. Looking around I saw a group of what I swear to be children walking towards me. Once they got closer to me I could tell they were much older then a kid but the same size as one.

"Come on kid!" One snapped at me. "Haven't you ever seen a dwarf before?"

Apologizing quickly, I realized they were here for my aunt. Looking down at her trying to keep it together.

"I am so sorry." My voice only as a whisper. "I will make you all proud I promise."

Releasing her for the first time as two of the men caught her gently from my arms.

"We have her now Keeper and will keep her safe until we return to the lighthouse, that is our promise to you."

Just nodding my head not sure if words could even come out if I tried to talk. I knew she was safe somehow and just trusted it for now. When I went to stand is was as if everything finally registered before the room started turning black.
