A week after the vehicle incident, the gang was taken care of by our Mafia family, and I'm still a little nervous about leaving the property with Lucca without someone else with us. Now, if it's just me leaving the property, I'm not as nervous.

"Milan, are you and Lucca ready to leave?" Da questions as Lucca and I walk into the kitchen.

Nodding as I make a quick run-through in my mind to make sure that I'm not forgetting anything; "Yup, we're ready to go."

The three of us, plus Alexi, and four henchmen are coming with us to purchase groceries for the next two weeks, plus groceries for Thanksgiving dinner, that's happening in two days. We're having dinner with the entire family (the Mafia Family), so we're feeding around two hundred people, which includes, my parents, Lucca, Romeo, Alexi and myself.

"Let's go then," Da says with a grin, and we leave the house.

Arriving outside, I find the four henchmen and Alexi standing in between two black SUV's, and are chatting with each other. When they notice us, the four henchmen climb into one SUV, and Alexi opens the back passenger door for Lucca, and I thank him as I lift Lucca into his car seat, so I can buckle him. I expect him to sit up front with Da, who is driving, but instead he tells me to sit up front with my father, and he'll sit in back with Lucca.

Eyeing him skeptically, I agree to his thought, and sit up front with Da. When everyone is buckled, Da drives us to the nearest Wal-Mart, which is about twenty-five minutes away, and once Da's parked, and we're out of the SUV, the eight of us head inside the store. The eight of us wandered the store for the needed groceries, and halfway through, I remembered I needed to grab a few personal items for Lucca and me.

"Da, I need to grab a few items for Lucca and me," I shyly mumble next to his right ear with pink tinted cheeks.

"Take either Karl or Alexi with you and Lucca, please," he softly replies with a serious expression and tone.

"Yes, Da," I murmur, knowing I'd rather take Karl with me because of what I need to grab for myself, and I don't want Alexi to see what I'm grabbing.

Walking Lucca and I over to Karl, whispering to him once I'm in front of him; "Hey, I need you to come with Lucca and me for a few. I need to grab some items. Please?"

Karl nods with a warm smile as he gestures for Lucca and me to lead the way. I can feel Alexi's gaze burning into the back of my head as the three of us walk away. Karl, the always quiet man, doesn't ask where we're going in the store, or what I need to grab, he just silently walks with Lucca and me.

Stopping at the pharmacy aisles, I quickly search for two bottles of lube, a bottle of Tylenol, and then make my way over to the children's section to grab a bottle of vitamins and Tylenol before heading over to the children's clothing. I need to grab Lucca a couple of new pairs of jeans as he's growing quickly out of his current pairs. I grab him three new pairs of jeans, four new pairs of long sleeve shirts, and two new pairs of jammies.

"Okay, we can find the others now," I mumble to Karl, feeling slightly embarrassed that I drug him around the store more than needed. "Thanks for coming with us, and being a good sport about this."

Karl grins over at us as we search the grocery area for everyone else; "You're welcome, and it's not a problem that I came with you guys."

We find the others a few minutes later, and I toss everything into a free spot in Da's cart with mine under Lucca's, so these are hidden. Da looks at me curiously, and I don't reply, and just focus on what is in his cart, and it looks like they're got everything already.

"Have everything?" I ask him, and he hums in agreement as we make our way towards the front to the checkout lanes.

When we arrive home, we help bring the bags inside, and place these on the kitchen counters, and I take my bags up to my bedroom quickly, so no one can see what I bought for myself. Da softly chuckles at my retreating back, and my entire body burns, but I'm just glad he didn't make any comments because I'm sure he saw what I bought. Tucking away what I bought for myself into the nightstand drawer, I toss the new clothes into my hamper after removing the tags before heading back downstairs to help place away the groceries. When I entered the kitchen, Da, Alexi and Lucca are the only three in the kitchen, and I instantly walk to a counter to grab stuff to start placing it away where it belongs without a word.

"So, what did you buy at the store, Milan?" Alexi asks with a soft smile as he looks at me while grabbing more items off the counter as he walks over to the cupboard by the fridge.

"Just some items," I mumble, trying to avoid actually answering the question. "Nothing important."

"Okay, just seemed like you didn't want anyone seeing what you got," he chuckles with a fond shake of his head as he focuses on his task as do Da and me, and Lucca is helping Da.

"Can we drop the subject, please?" I grumble, my face heating up again with a furious blush.

"Sure can," Alexi agrees, and the four of us drop into comfortable silence as we finish.

"Papa, can I wa'ch 'Bluey'?" Lucca suddenly asks, losing interest in what we're doing, and I agree because he hasn't watched any television today.

When we've finished, I wander into the living room to sit on the floor next to Lucca, and watch 'Bluey' with him. What surprises me is that Alexi joins us, too, and he sits on the couch behind me with his legs on either side of me.
