"We're leaving at eight, so we can stop to drop off the house keys to the realtor, grab some breakfast with the rest of the family, so we can see them before heading your way," I answer with a lump in my throat. "So, we should be there no later than noon."

"Good, I can't wait for you guys to see how beautifully the house has turned out," he says with soft eyes. "I also can't wait to hug and kiss you all, and have some adult fun once the kids are asleep tomorrow night."

He wiggles his eyebrows up and down in a suggestive manner at the last part, and I let out a teary laugh at his perviness.

"You're horrible, but that's one of the things I love about you," I softly giggle with a fond shake of my head. "Hang on a sec, okay, baby?"

Lucca had entered the living room, dressed in his jammies, so I could give him a hug and kiss goodnight, and I pulled him against my side, kissing his temple, mumbling; "Good night, my sweet Lucca. Sleep well, and I love you."

"Night Papa, I love you, too," he mumbles into my side as he tightly hugs me back. "Good night, Papa, and good night, Dada."

Axel wishes him a good night, too, and that he loves him before Lucca walks off to his bedroom, and I focus on Axel again.

"Will you stay on the call with me until I fall asleep, please?" I quietly ask him, feeling shy all of a sudden, and a little guilty for asking.

"Of course I can, baby," he agrees. "I know you're missing me because I miss you just as much. This is the last night we'll have to spend apart, okay?"

Nodding with watery eyes, and a soft sniffle; "Thanks. I'm sorry for asking. If you're too tired, we don't have to do this."

"Baby, I'm never too tired to give you this simple request," he assures. "Go get into bed, get comfortable, okay?"

"Okay," I sniffled, shutting off the lights, locking the doors, and making my way to the master bedroom.

Brushing my teeth, washing my face after using the toilet, all the while keeping Axel on the call because it's not like he hasn't seen or heard me in the bathroom, doing my night time routine. I already have my jammies on because I did this after getting the three younger kids in bed, I crawl under the covers, and prop the phone up against the pillows after plugging it in.

I'm gathering all the kids' and my bedding in the morning, and yes, we're leaving the beds behind because we bought new beds and mattresses.

"Okay, now that we're both in bed, I wanted to let you know that you've made me the happiest person on the planet," he states, and I can't help but blush, but I know I'm giving him a funny expression, too.

"Why do you say that, baby?" I murmur. "I'm the luckiest person on the planet because of you."

We talk for probably another fifteen minutes before I fall asleep with a soft smile and tears staining my face while listening to him list reasons why he's the luckiest person on the planet because of me.

By noon the next day, I'm parking my loaded SUV in the driveway next to Axel's SUV at our new home with four very excited kids, ready to see their Dada, and their new home. By the time I've placed the gear shifter into park, and turned the engine off, Axel is out of the house, approaching the vehicle while the kids and I are unbuckling ourselves, and quickly exiting to rush toward Axel. Letting the kids hug and kiss him first, and then I do the same before he takes us on a tour of the house because we haven't been here in over a month because the kids had school, and end of the year school activities.

"Let's go look at the house, huh?" Axel excitedly tells the kids, and we head inside, and they wander the main level for a while before we head upstairs to their floor - Axel and I have the floor above them.

Axel stops at the first door on the left, and looks down at Lorenzo with a bright smile; "Alright, Lorenzo, this is your room, buddy."

He opens the door, revealing a room with two walls painted dark blue, and the other two walls are painted red, and decorated with 'Spiderman' stuff - Lorenzo is a huge 'Spiderman' fan if you haven't guessed by now, and our littlest boy cutely gasped as he takes in his room.

"It's awesome!" he loudly cheers as he rushes into his room, examining everything, and we let him do this for several minutes before Axel asks him if he's gonna stay in his room, or come with to see his siblings room - he decides to come with us.

"Alright, girls, these are your rooms," Axel explains to our twins as he points to the two closed doors across from Lorenzo's room. "Aria, your room is on the right, and Aurora, your room is on the left, and your rooms have a door that connects your rooms."

He opens Aria's door, and we head inside her dark purple painted room with lavender accents, and she and Aurora explore her bedroom before they use the door connecting their rooms to explore Aurora's dark pink room with pale pink accents. Axel asks them the same question that he asked Lorenzo, and they choose to come with to check out Lucca's room, too. Lucca's room is next door to Lorenzo's. Lucca's bedroom is painted a light green color with dark green accents.

There are two bathrooms on this floor - one of the girls, and one for the boys, and the kids will be responsible for doing light cleaning of the bathrooms, along with their bedrooms, but Axel and I will be doing a majority of the cleaning. The kids have chores they are responsible for like Axel and me.

"Alright, upstairs is Papa and my floor," Axel tells the kids once Lucca has looked around his room for several minutes. "Are you guys coming with us, or do you wanna hangout in your rooms for a while? Your grandpa's, uncle Romeo, aunt Taylor, Alexi, Mika, and their kids are going to be here in about three hours for a bbq?"

The kids decide to explore their bedrooms further, so Axel takes me up to our floor to show me around. Grinning at the floor as soon as we stepped onto it.

"This is amazing, baby, so thank you for all the hard work, and time away from us to do this for us," I murmur, standing on my tip toes with my hands on his shoulders to give him an appreciative kiss that he eagerly returns.

"You're welcome, baby boy," he murmurs against my lips before I land back flat on my feet. "Oh, I forgot to mention that the walls on this floor are sound proof, so we can get pretty loud when we're having sex. There is an intercom system at the front door, on the main floor, in the kids' bedrooms, and one up here, so you know we can still communicate with everyone if needed."

"You're horrible, but that's a fantastic idea!" I laugh, but truly loving the idea.

Who would ever think that I would have found love again after losing my first love? I never thought the walls that I built around my heart would have crumbled for a man who showed me compassion, love, trust, and so much more. I'm glad that he managed to break through my walls, though.
