Jaeha started to explain to Moran and so far she already knew about this.

“But what ordinary citizens did not know is that as a Gifted person with a higher level than A, an excessive use of their power will start to corrupt their body and mind – if it’s not neutralized. And that’s where the Guide comes. The Guide has this special characteristic in their DNA that could help neutralize the overuse of power that could get corrupted fast – of the S ranked Gifted. But the downside is that the Gifted and the Guide have to be at least 85% compatible for the Guiding process to be able to show results. And so far, you are the only Guide that has an EX rank and 10% compatibility with all of us. It’s like you’re being sent directly to us from… wherever you came from.”

Moran was not that stupid that she could not detect the underlying suspicion in Jaeha’s words. Hell, if she was in his place, she would be suspicious of her too with the timing and all.

But how could she explain that she… transmigrated into this body that her previous body was supposed to kill, and that she used to be a man in his late thirties instead of a woman in her late twenties?

Fortunately – or unfortunately? – suddenly Amon called for Jaeha in an urgent manner.

“Jaeha!”

When he heard the tone, Jaeha turned to see that Khan was already passing out on the floor – with the black lines that Moran saw back inside the dungeon all over his body, and they grew very quickly.

He ran toward the convulsing man – who was held by Amon  – and he checked his condition before he called Moran over.

“Now is your chance to prove that you’re not all talk.” Jaeha ripped Khan’s clothes off. “Take off your clothes and start guiding him. If you have no idea how, just skin-to-skin contact will do. A kiss would be better, and intercourse definitely would balance him right away since he had accumulated too many impurities. But I won’t force you to do whatever you don’t want.”

Moran nodded as she took off her jacket and pants.

Amon lifted Khan and put him on the couch to make him more comfortable, while Moran straddled him and lifted both of Khan’s hands and put them on her waist.

By the time their skin touched, they were glowing – a sign that a guiding was in a process, and their compatibility was high.

In fact, the brighter the glow, the higher the compatibility between the Gifted and the Guide. And so far, Jaeha had never seen this kind of bright light from any other Guide before, and it stunned him.

He knew that he had to get her to enter the guild and became their private Guide – whatever it took.

She then continued to embrace Khan and put his head on her shoulder – which made their position very intimate and the surface of their touching skin was larger. She could smell the subtle sandalwood smell from the back of his ear – mixed with his natural scent – and she thought it was very nice.

Unfortunately the skin to skin contact wasn’t enough for the severity of Khan’s corruption that had already happened for years.

“This won’t do.” Jaeha frowned when he checked Khan’s condition. “He’s too far gone from denying guiding for too long.” Then he looked at Moran and tilted his head slightly as if he wanted to make sure that Moran was in 100% and would do anything to save Khan.
