I re-look through everything to see if I had gotten all I needed. Checking everything off, I slip my bag over my shoulder and grab my phone and earbuds, plugging them in. I stuff them in my pockets with my phone—waiting there till I get to the car—I walk outside my apartment playfully shoving Theo to the side while smiling.

"Are you going to come pick me up after school?" I ask, he nods with his hands stuffed in his black hoodie pockets. "Alrighty, who else is coming?"

He looked down at me and thought for a moment standing beside his car. "I think Lilium, Cam, and Amber."

I let out a dramatic sigh, "Why does Cammie have to come?" I mumble, he quietly chuckles and turns around, opening the passenger side door for me leaning his forearm on the window frame after.

"Cause she's also my friend." He states obviously,

I nod exaggeratedly, rolling my eyes. I silently mock him as I get into the car, looking up at him through the window as he shuts the door, shoving my tongue out at him.

"Whatever. I think she's a complete bitch." I grumble once he's in the car as well. I pull my seatbelt down and around me to buckle it into its clip, he chuckles softly and buckles himself in before starting the car.

"I know you do," he breathes, lifelessly almost, before pulling out of my driveway.

For the last four hours I've been listening to these boring teachers ramble on about whatever her class was about—I didn't much care. She was just as much of a hag as Donavon is, told everyone bathroom breaks were a privilege none of us deserved. If I get kidney failure, I know who I'm suing.

I slumped down on the cafeteria table sluggishly looking towards Elias as he spoke to his friends. I sit up slightly when I spot Theo's car pull up. Huh, he's early like three hours early. I get up and take my phone out to text him, Elias looked up at me with a curious look, "Who's messaging you in the middle of school?"

I laugh and shrug, ignoring the edge in his voice, "Just Theo, he's probably bored."

He nods and takes one of my hands and goes back to his conversation. I look up at him after a moment, "I'm gonna go see why he's here so early."

He nods and releases my hand; I pocket my phone and leave the cafeteria. Upon walking outside, I smile when I approach his little black car. I bend down tapping on the glass spooking him, but he rolled it down after. "What 'cha doin' here Theo?" I ask with a small smile.

He shrugs, "I got bored, so decided to wait the remaining time."

I playfully roll my eyes and toss my phone at him, "Hold that for me." He nods, looking up at me after catching the phone confused. I turned around and walked into the school.

I go back into the cafeteria and place my hands on Elias' shoulder, "I'm gonna skip with Theo, I'll see you later."

I place a kiss on his cheek as he pats my hand in a bye. I turn back around walking out after grabbing my bag from my locker and back to Theo hopping in his car to see him playing a game on my phone. I smile softly tossing my dull black backpack into the backseat of his car. "What 'cha doin?"

He looked up at me briefly, "I noticed you had games on your phone, and I got bored."

I laugh quietly, "Alright well you can do that later I wanna leave this dump."

He looked up at me, "What about the others?"

I rub my hands together and smile up at him, "Why don't we have an us day just you and me I could use it." He nods slightly still confused as to why we aren't waiting for everyone else, but he still went with it.
