Stumbling my way over to L'manburg park after I was finally able to get away I put pressure on a wound Ares had given me before I managed to get away. I saw Jubilee pacing under a tree, the only light being a lamp post twelve feet away.

"Jeez! Your brother packs hell of a punch!" I complain, sitting down on the bench that was next to him. Jubilee whipped around, worry edged his face, even though most of it was covered with his mask.

"You didn't get hurt right!?"He asked, hovering around me like a worried mother.

"No, Just a small nick and a few bruises. I'm fine." Reassuring him I leaned back against the bench. He gave a relieved sigh and slumped down next to me. I turned to look at him and gave a low whistle.

"Damn dude, they did a number on you." I noted. His suit was covered in dirt from being tossed into the wall. Dust and bits of rubble are still sticking to his suit. "I don't know how you did it, but you managed to make your suit even more shabby." I said, nudging his shoulder teasingly. He hissed slightly in pain and I sat up, looking at him in worry.

"I'm fine." He gritted out. I shook my head, standing up.

"No, you're not. They threw you into a literal wall, you flew ten feet across a fucking roof! You are not fine!" I said, scolding him. Sighing I ran a hand down my masked face. "I keep telling you that you have to take better care of yourself." Groaning, I gestured to him to get up. He hesitates before getting us, wincing in pain as he does so.

"Your fucking hopeless sometimes. Follow me, I'm going to get you patched up." He nodded before stopping, looking at me in confusion.

"How? You don't have a first aid kit on you?" Laughing I shook my head.

"You'll see. Now come on." Walking away I put my hands in my pockets. He trails after me, looking around as we walk.

"Shouldn't we be worried about someone seeing us and calling the police?" He asked, looking around nervously.

"Nah." Not explaining more I press a button on my suit and it shifts. It looks more like regular clothes, a nice red hoodie and sweatpants, I still have some knives but they are hidden. I still had my mask on though.

"Damn dude, how rich are you!?" He asks in amazement.

"Oh, I'm broke. I just have some friends who are good with tech." I say simply, shrugging. Finally we made it near the warehouse district. I had a base in one of them but I took him to a house. It looked relatively good, not rich and not run down.

"Uh, please tell me we're not going to break into some random person's house" He said awkwardly.

"Gods no! This is my place." I explain, saying it like it's nothing. He spluttered, tripping over his feet on the way to the door.

"Ex fucking-scuse me!? Why are you taking me to your house!?" He screeches indignantly

"Because I need to patch you up, duh!" Rolling my eyes I unlock the door and gesture for him to walk in. He pauses at the doorway before walking in and looking around.

"It looks... normal?" He notes, looking a bit confused.

"Yeah, do you really expect me to have villain stuff lying around?" I turn to him, laughing.

"Don't judge me! I've never been to a villain's house before!" He laughs, sitting down on the couch.

"I would think so." Laughing more I go over to the light switch and turn the lights on. Then I pull open a panel in the wall and type a code. The walls groan and the couch starts lowering down, like an elevator. Jubilee yells in surprise, holding on to the couch for dear life. I laugh, jumping down to land on the couch next to him as it lowers into a dark abyss.
