When in Doubt

When Tommy let Wilbur live with him, he did not expect it to be this chaotic. He didn't know what he thought would come out of it, but it definitely wasn't this.

"TOMMY! Do you know where my phone is!" Wilbur shouted from across the house. They were both rushing around getting ready for work. Well at least Tommy was, Wilbur was rushing around so he could go on patrol.

"How about check up your ass, that's where you left your personality" Tommy shouted back as he spotted Wilburs phone on the coffee table in the living room.

"What did you say?" Wilburs shouts back, evidently not hearing him.

"Nothing! Found it!" Tommy says. Wilbur appears, turning around the corner. He beamed as he spotted Tommy holding his phone.

"Thanks Toms!" He laughed, his Vigilante suit partially on. Tommy smiled at the suit he designed on his brothe- friend. Tommy laughed, tossing the phone towards Wilbur, who caught it before scowling playfully at him.

"Now hurry up Will, we don't want to be late." Wilbur nodded, putting his phone in his suit pocket before letting the nano tech form a mask around. When I finished getting all my stuff I rushed out the door, knowing Wilbur would also be leaving soon.

It's been a regular routine, both of us leaving for our own individual jobs. Wilbur sometimes doesn't always patrol in the mornings but most of the time he does.

Once I arrived at Innits Café I went through the motions of opening up. I knew the others were probably still sleeping. Purpled might be up but he would be on the top floor, he prefers to stay in the internet café part of the building.

Once the cafe was opened people started trickling in. At some point Tubbo came by, getting some hot chocolate before having to run to work. It was nice, overall a pretty calm day. But of course something had to ruin his peacefulness.

Tommy looked up as the bell over the door chimed, and groaned. Walking in was Wilburs brother. Tommy plastered on his customer service smile and greeted him.

"Hello, what can I get for you?" He chirped in an overly cheery voice.

"Where is he?" Techno asked. Before I could even respond he cut me off. "And don't give me any of that bullshit 'I don't know a Wilbur' I knew you were lying." He sighed before speaking again.

"Look, I don't know you, you don't know me. Just tell me where he is. He didn't come home last night and was worried. He won't respond to any of our calls or texts. Just tell me where he is." He looked at me with a tired expression. Scoffing, I dropped my customer service smile.

"Tough luck bitch. I don't know shit. And if I did, I would tell you" Scowling I glared at him. Evidently what Wilbur argued with them about was pretty serious considering he went to me. I'm not betraying his trust by handing him over.

Techno glowered at me, clenching his fists. "Look kid, I don't appreciate some fetus telling me what to do. Listen closely and listen well, If so much as a hair on my brother's head is harmed, your head will be on a stick within the day." He leaned forwards, narrowing his eyes as he threatened me.

"I would say the same to you, but considering what condition I found him in, your head would already be on a spike by now. And trust me when I say I really want to skewer you." Techno reeled back like he was just slapped on his face. Before he could respond I interrupted him.

"So listen here you pink bubblegum haired son of a bitch, you're going to get out of my cafe, peacefully, and not come back here until Wilbur wants to see you. As soon as you get home, you're going to call your brother, he probably won't pick up, but you're going to leave a voicemail apologizing for whatever shitty argument you had. Then you're also going to text him an apology. Got it." Glaring at the taller I poked him in the chest to emphasize my sentences. Techno took a deep breath but turned heel and left.

As soon as he was out of the cafe I breathed a sigh of relief. Lucky for me our interaction didn't catch too much attention and the rest of the customers were still minding their own business.

By the end of the day I was exhausted. I just wanted to go home and curl up on the couch.

My phone dinged as I got a notification. Sighing I pulled it out, groaning as I saw it was a warning for a hero and villain fight nearby.

"God damn it. What an idiot" I muttered to myself as I clicked on the live footage of the fight... Just to be greeted with the footage of Jubilee fighting Ares.

"That's my Idiot!" I shout in indignation. Looking around to make sure no one was around I put on my suit. Jumping across rooftops I made my way to the fight. When I arrived I saw Wilbur jumping around Ares's punches.

Leaping into the fight easily, I blocked one of the hero's punches. Ares stumbled back in shock while I heard Wilbur curse under his breath.

"Cherry bomb, to what do we owe this pleasure?" Ares asked, clearly not happy about this outcome.

"Honestly, I just got bored and heard you were in the area." I said, shrugging while I danced around his blows. While I was distracting the Hero it gave Wilbur the opportunity to slip away from the fight.

Within five minutes I was running away from the Hero, laughing as I escaped. Eventually I managed to slip away from him and I made my way back to the house. WIlbur was already waiting for me at home, back in his civilian clothes.

"What the Fuck were you thinking Will!?" I shouted incredulously. Wilbur also looked quite annoyed at me.

"What was I doing? No, what were you doing!? You could have gotten yourself killed! I had it handled!" Wilbur shot back.

"You did not have it handled. And If I wanted to kill myself I would climb up to your ego then jump down to your IQ!" Wilbur gasped in offense before scowling and sitting down on the couch.

"Rude," He said, looking away. Sighing, I sat down next to him.

"Sorry, but you can't just do stuff like that when you're still healing, it's almost fully healed but not completely, you have to be patient." I explained.

"Some days I wonder which one the older of the two of us is, because you always act like a mother hen." Wilbur laughed. I smacked him with a pillow in retaliation and it turned into full out war

I dont think I'm going to hate having Wilbur here.
