Upon reaching the outhouse, they were pleased to find it cozy and well-furnished. The spacious living area was adorned with tasteful decor, and the large windows allowed plenty of natural light to flood in. Each room was meticulously prepared, reflecting the hospitality they had already experienced.
Nandini looked around and smiled. "This place is perfect for us," she said.
Riddhi and Siddhi nodded in agreement, equally impressed by their temporary home. "We should start settling in and organizing our things," Riddhi suggested.
"Yes, and later, we can head to the mall to get everything we need," Siddhi added.
The outhouse was thoughtfully designed, with three spacious rooms, all featuring pristine white interiors. The ground floor included a kitchen with limited supplies, a dining table, a hall, stairs, and one room intended for two children. This room was now occupied by the twins, Riddhi and Siddhi.
Upstairs, there were two large rooms, each with an attached balcony, which Nandini and Nitya claimed as their own. The girls were delighted with the arrangement, though they noted the need to add personal touches to make the space feel more like home.
After selecting their rooms, they began to unpack. With only their clothes and a few cherished photographs, they organized their belongings in the almirahs. Once everything was neatly stored away, they gathered in the hall, settling on the sofas.
Nandini spread out a notebook on the coffee table. "Alright, let's make a list of everything we need to turn this place into our home," she said, looking at the others expectantly.
Riddhi and Siddhi immediately chimed in with suggestions. "We definitely need more kitchen supplies," Riddhi said.
"Yes, and some cozy decor items to brighten up the rooms," Siddhi added.
Nitya nodded thoughtfully. "We should also get some groceries and basic household items. Maybe a few plants for the balconies too."
They continued brainstorming, jotting down everything they could think of, from bedding and toiletries to utensils and decorative pieces. The list grew longer, but so did their excitement.
As they worked together, the girls felt a growing sense of camaraderie and anticipation. This temporary house was already starting to feel like a true home, thanks to their combined efforts and shared enthusiasm.
With their list in hand and excitement bubbling, the girls made their way to the palace parking area where the driver was already informed and waiting for them. They climbed into the car and headed to the nearby mall, eager to begin their shopping adventure.
Upon arriving at the mall, they split up to cover more ground but stayed in close proximity to help each other out. The energy was palpable as they moved through the stores, carefully selecting items that would add warmth and personality to their new home.
Nandini picked out a set of cute pillow covers, each one with a unique design that would bring a pop of color to the otherwise white rooms. Riddhi and Siddhi enthusiastically chose different colored curtains and rugs, ensuring that every space would feel inviting and cozy.
In the kitchen section, Nitya found adorable kitchen utensils, from pastel-colored measuring cups to patterned dish towels, that would make cooking a more pleasant experience. They also stocked up on groceries, selecting fresh produce, pantry staples, and a few indulgent treats to share.
By the end of their shopping spree, their cart was overflowing with their finds. The girls laughed and chatted as they loaded everything into the car, already imagining how these new additions would transform the outhouse into a welcoming home.
