In the kitchen, Nandini set Snowy down and began making tea for Riddhi and Siddhi. The aroma of the brewing tea filled the kitchen, adding to the warmth of the morning. She poured the tea into two cups and placed them on a tray, then turned her attention to Snowy's breakfast. She filled his bowl with his favorite food, watching with a smile as he eagerly started eating.
With Snowy happily occupied, Nandini picked up the tray and made her way to Nitya's room. She knocked softly before entering, finding Nitya still asleep. Setting the tray down on the bedside table, Nandini gently shook her sister awake.
"Nitya, it's time to get up," she said softly. "We have a lot to do today."
Nitya groaned, pulling the covers over her head. "Five more minutes," she mumbled.
Nandini laughed, pulling the covers back. "Nope, up you go. Come on, you need to take a shower and get ready."
With a few more grumbles, Nitya finally sat up, rubbing her eyes. She glanced at the tea and smiled. "Alright, alright, I'm up. Thanks for the tea, by the way."
Nandini grinned. "You're welcome. Now, go shower and get dressed. We need to head to the palace soon."
Nitya nodded, slowly getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom. Nandini left the room, feeling accomplished for getting her sister up and moving. She returned to the kitchen, where Snowy was finishing his breakfast. Picking him up, she gave him a quick cuddle before setting him down again.
Till she made Breakfast for riddhi siddhi as she and nitya are fasting today.
Once Nitya was ready, the three of them-Nandini, Nitya, and Snowy-gathered in the living room. Riddhi and Siddhi joined them and had their breakfast, all of them looking fresh and excited for the day ahead. With a final check to ensure everything was in order, they made their way out of the house and headed to the palace.
The walk to the palace was filled with light chatter and laughter, Snowy trotting along happily beside them.
As they walked toward the palace, Nandini fell into step beside Nitya. She leaned in closer, lowering her voice to a whisper. "Hey, I have to tell you something, but I'll talk to you about it at noon after we get free from the temple, after making the idols of Maa Gauri."
Nitya looked at her curiously but nodded. "Sure, Nandini. Actually, I have something to talk to you about too."
Nandini raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? Well, now I'm really curious."
Nitya chuckled softly. "You'll just have to wait and see."
They exchanged knowing smiles, the anticipation of their upcoming conversation adding an extra layer of excitement to the day. As they continued walking, the palace loomed closer, its grand structure welcoming them with open arms.
Snowy, sensing the moment between Nandini and Nitya, meowed softly, as if approving of their secretive whispers.
As they entered the grand hall of the palace, Nandini, Nitya, Riddhi, and Siddhi were greeted by the familiar sight of their extended family gathered together. The warm atmosphere of the hall was filled with the gentle hum of morning chatter and the scent of fresh flowers.
"Namaste," Nandini and the others greeted in unison, bowing respectfully to Geetanjali and Abhiraj, Abhimaan's grandparents.
"Namaste, my dears," Geetanjali replied with a warm smile, her eyes twinkling with affection.
Next, they turned to Megha and Prakash, Abhimaan's kaki and kakasa. "Namaste," they repeated.
"Namaste, children," Megha said, her smile as warm as Geetanjali's. Prakash nodded in greeting, his face showing a quiet pride.
