Nandini descended the stairs, her frock suit flowing gracefully with each step. The soft morning light illuminated her figure, making her appear even more radiant. As she entered the dining area, she noticed Mrs. Ritu busy in the kitchen, preparing breakfast and arranging it on the dining table. With a warm smile, Nandini greeted her, "Good morning, aunty."

Mrs. Ritu looked up and returned the greeting with a polite, "Good morning, ma'am."

Nandini's smile faded slightly, and she shook her head in gentle disapproval. "Oh ho, kitni baar bataya, ma'am nahi beta bola kare. Aap badi hain aur vaise bhi, main aapki boss nahi hoon. Mr. Rathod hain. Yeh formalities aap unke liye hi bacha kar rakhein," Nandini replied, her tone a blend of affection and mild reproach.

Mrs. Ritu chuckled softly, appreciating Nandini's humility. "Aap bhi na, beta. Theek hai, aaj se sirf beta hi bulaungi," she said with a warm smile, continuing her work with renewed cheer.

As said by Abhimaan, he made sure that Nandini wouldn't have to worry about household chores anymore. True to his word, he hired Mrs. Ritu, a warm and reliable woman with years of experience managing households. Her role was clear: to take care of everything for Nandini and the other girls living in the outhouse.

Mrs. Ritu was responsible for preparing meals, ensuring the food was always fresh and delicious, just the way Nandini liked it. She would also take care of Snowy, Nandini's beloved cat, making sure he was well-fed and entertained, especially when Nandini was busy or away. Additionally, Mrs. Ritu handled the cleaning, laundry, and any other household tasks that needed attention, leaving the girls free from every work-related worry.

This new arrangement gave Nandini and the girls more time to focus on their passions and enjoy their days without the burden of daily chores. And for Abhimaan, knowing that Nandini was well taken care of brought him a sense of peace. He could now focus on his own work, confident that she was in good hands.

As Nandini and Mrs. Ritu set the dining table, they placed Snowy's feeding box on the table as well. Snowy had developed the adorable habit of wanting to eat with everyone, and they indulged him. Soon, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed through the hall as Nitya, Riddhi, and Siddhi arrived from their rooms, all ready for the day.

Nitya, nearly tripping on the last few steps, called out, "Sorry, yrr! Kal se pakka time par aaungi!"

Nandini chuckled at her friend's usual lateness and teased, "Pehle aaram se chal, aur tere time se aane wala kal kabhi nahi aayega. Tu likhwa le mujhse."

Nitya pouted at Nandini's playful jab, her expression making everyone else grin. Riddhi and Siddhi exchanged amused glances with Mrs. Ritu, and even Snowy seemed to be in on the joke, his whiskers twitching in delight.

With their playful banter filling the air, the girls quickly finished breakfast and prepared to leave for college. Nowadays, Nandini and Nitya usually drove in Nitya's car, while Riddhi and Siddhi rode on Nandini's cherished scooty, which they fondly referred to as "Sweet."

Before they headed out, Nandini couldn't help but slip into her responsible mode. "Riddhi, Siddhi, don't forget to ride safely and wear your helmets properly, okay?"

"Yes, Captain!" Riddhi and Siddhi saluted her with a laugh, securing their helmets with exaggerated care.

Satisfied, Nandini gave a nod, and with that, the girls went their separate ways, their morning filled with laughter and warmth, ready to take on the day ahead.

At college

In the lively college cafeteria, the excitement for the upcoming freshers' party was palpable. Riddhi, Siddhi, Siya, and Aarav, all first-year students, had taken over their favorite corner, the table buzzing with their animated chatter.
