I fiddled with my fingers nervously as I was about to reach the party venue.
I wore the dress which nandini gave me from her closet. This is the first time I am wearing both nandini's and Di's style in one day.

I feel very confident right now because of this dress. This is the only red dress in her closet. She mostly has only black clothes.
Honestly I am kinda scared to see his reaction. Do I look overdressed or underdressed?.

I hope not any of them. I reached the venue and got out of the cab and payed the driver.
I gave myself a reassurance with a deep sign before confidently walking to the party with a smile.
What I saw upon entering dropped my jaw. There stood the host of the party. The hottest man I had ever seen.

He looks soo freaking beautiful. I look like a piece of trash infront of him. Even the others at the party wore fancy clothes.
He was talking to someone and then his eyes fell on me. His expression changed when he saw me ogling at him.

"Welcome to the party sweetheart." He said with a smile.
He calmed my heart and anxiety. Hayye he is the one who started the fire and now he is putting it off.
"Thank you Karan." I said trying not to stutter. His aura is just magical.
"You look very... gorgeous." he said looking at me up and down.
And you look very mouth watering sir. Eww what did I just think. I should stop with this nonsense.
"Thank you and even you look very charming." I said flustered.
I really wanted to say hot but then what if he teases me.
He smiled and thanked me. We then entered into the party and started enjoying.
He went up to the stage and grabbed everyone's attention by tapping on the glass of mocktail he had.
"Ladies and gentlemen may I have your attention please. Thank you. I don't want to stop the party by making my speech long and boring. Thank you each and everyone present In this room. You people are equally responsible for the positive outcome of this project. So, everyone let's celebrate."
He said and everyone hooted and clapped. The way he speaks is soo alluring.
"Cheers to our company." he raised the glass up and so did everyone.
The dj had started and everyone were enjoying the party.
Karan's pov
After my speech had ended I went down the stage. I went towards Ridhima.
She looks soo breathtaking right now. I just wish to keep staring at her the whole time.
Even she was checking me out. Uff her doe eyes. I wonder what she was thinking while staring at me.
Anyway I want to spend time with her. I saw her sitting near the mocktail counter cheering her friends who were dancing.
Why isn't she enjoying and dancing like all her friends. No worries I am here to make her enjoy.
"Soo why are you not enjoying sweetheart? Is the party boring?" I asked her straight to the point.
"No not at all. I am enjoying you don't have to worry. You go and dance." She encouraged me.
"Ohh okay so you are enjoying." I said and sat near her.
"Now even I am enjoying the party." I said getting near her.
She blushed and smiled a little. We started a conversation on random things and I could actually see her enjoying now. She loves talking.
"The next few songs are gonna be for SRK fans so get ready guys." The dj announced.
I looked at her and raised my eyebrows. She immediately nodded and we both started laughing.
Actually during a conversation we got to know that we both loved SRK and his songs very much.
We both got up and joined our friends in dancing. We danced to 'chaleya'.
More songs like 'Aankhein khuli' and 'tumse milke Dil ka hai jo haal' which I sang looking at her making her blush.
The srk songs were over and all of us got tired. We took some drinks and sat down.
"So are you finally enjoying now?"I asked while smiling.
"Ofcourse I am loving it soo much." she said with a big grin.
I smiled at her cuteness and everyone continued talking. Everyone was hungry so we started eating.
After dancing soo much the food was worth it. From the look on ridhima's face she too liked the food.
Everyone was eating and enjoying. Honestly they deserve it after all their hardwork.
